Chapter 74: Matter Of Perspective

(I thought of changing up a bit of the ending of the episode.)

~Third Pov~

Hiccup placed the bag of fruit on the ground, making everyone look at him confused.

"Hiccup, I thought you'll find... Well I don't know... A WAY TO GET OUT OF HERE!" Snotlout yelled.

"I did. The Sentinels are blind, but they use their other senses to know where they are." Hiccup said.

"Wait... So your telling me that we got defeated by dragons that are BLIND!?" Snotlout yelled.

"Yup. But, if we put these fruits on our skins, they'll think were one of them." Hiccup said

"That explains why it only hurt us and not any other dragons in this island." Fishlegs said.

"Exactly. I picked enough fruit to cover us and the dragons." Hiccup said as he picked a fruit.

Everyone did as they tried to get on them. Hiccup rubbed the fruit on his arm and Fishlegs try to hit it on his stomach. The twins looked at each other as Ruffnut smashed the fruit onto Tuffnut's helmet. Tuffnut gave his sister a dirty look and threw the fruit to Ruffnut but she dodged it. The fruit landed onto Snotlout.

Everyone started to grab more fruit and began the whole on war of Fruitballs fight. Snotlout tried to hit Hiccup but, Hiccup's reflexes improve throughout the years, and he dodged it. To Snotlout lucky, it hut a certain Hofferson. Snotlout gulped as Astrid threw a fruit with full force. The fruit hit Snotlout and made him fall backwards.

Hiccup laughed as he threw one to Fishlegs. Fishlegs threw one towards Hiccup, whole Hiccup was aiming at Snotlout. The fruit hit his side as Hiccup laughed.

"Can someone get Astrid. She dodge these fruit like she has a spine of a snake." Tuffnut said.

Hiccup smirked as he looked at Astrid. Astrid noticed and began walk backwards.

"Hiccup... Don't you dare." Astrid said as Hiccup came closer.

Without warning, Hiccup threw the fruit, hitting Astrid. Astrid growled as Hiccup noticed, he's not going to see the light of day tomorrow. Hiccup ran as Astrid yelled at his name.

Hiccup grabbed more fruit as started to throw it at the dragons. As Toothless got hit by a fruit, which he did not liked, he tripped Hiccup with his tail. Hiccup tried to get up, even though he knows he's going to be dead meat by now. Astrid tackled him down, and straddled on his hips. She pinned his arms down as for everyone who was watching.

"What wants to throw a fruit to the famous, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third?" Astrid said.

Snotlout came up to the couple with a handful of fruit. "Do I?" Snotlout said with a smirked on his lips.

Astrid got off from Hiccup but still have a grip on his arms. Snotloud aimed at him and threw the fruit to his chest. Then Snotlout threw another one but Hiccup kicked away, making the fruit hitting it back to Snotlout. Hiccup, somehow, escaped from Astrid grip and made a run for it.

Astrid threw fruits at Hiccup, hitting him a couple of times. Hiccup got more fruit and hit her. Everyone was throwing fruit at each other. Little by little, the bag got smaller and smaller. 'Till there were no more fruit left. The gang and the dragons were filled with the fruit.

"Now remember guys, they are blind but their senses are extremely perfect. So don't make any noise." Hiccup said as Fishlegs, Astrid and him looked at the twins and Snotlout. "If we are quiet enough, they'll think we are one of them."
