"Wait, I know him."
That someone took a step forward and removed their hood. It was Raven.
Great, I went to the party to take my mind off of her but yet, I ended up running into her.
"How do you know him?" The guy in the beanie asked, Leo?
"He's my biology partner." Raven said. The street light shine on her face and I could see how tired and worn out she looked. Her green eyes looked much darker in this lighting.
"So, he's your friend?" Someone in the group asked. I was trying so hard to stay awake and used the wall behind me for support.
"Well, not exactly. More like an acquaintance." Raven said.
"Well that hurts." I managed to say. I mean I get why she said that but I wasn't expecting her to say it. She looked a bit shocked by what I just said but quickly masked it and cleared her throat.
"Trevor, what are doing out here, drunk?" There she goes again, saying my name the way she does.
I didn't answer as my eyes had become more and more heavy. I heard her saying something the group of guys and they walked away, leaving me with Raven under the street lamp.
"Why are you out here, Trevor?" she asked, taking a step forward towards me. I tried to stand but instead I slumped back against the wall.
"There was a party." I said.
"Do you remember where it is?" she asked, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. I looked around and did not recognize my surroundings. I was just randomly walking and I guess I went too far.
"No." I said and pouted like a small kid. She looked at me with amusement and moved to my side. She grabbed my arm and put in over her shoulder and wrapped her other arm around my waist.
"Come on, I'll help you find your way back." she said and hoisted me off the wall. We stumbled for a little bit but I regained my balance with the support of Raven.
"So, which way did you come from?" She asked, looking up at me. Her green eyes shine against the street light as we started walking. Well, at least she was walking and I was being dragged.
"I-um... I don't remember." I said as I looked around. My vision turns blurry once again and tripped over my own feet. Raven held my torso tighter so that I wouldn't fall face first to the floor.
We walked for few more minutes with Raven asking whether I recognize anything from the streets we passed. I still couldn't recall where the party was. My answer was always no.
We were walking again and I can't help but stare at Raven. With her that close to me, made me feel some sort of comfort. I bend my arm that was on her shoulder a bit so that she was even closer to me. Even though she looked tired, she was still so drop dead gorgeous and I don't even know how I haven't seen her around school. Some strands of her hair were stinking to the side of her face as she was sweating and her lips were slightly parted and pink. I never noticed how long her eyelashes were until tonight. Her hair was in a braid so I could see her face without any disturbance.
"Will you quit staring and figure out where is this party?" she said, catching me of guard as she gazed up at me.
"You're so pretty." I slurred as I grinned at her, bring my face close to hers. As we past another street lamp, I could see the slight pink tone in her cheeks. She looked so cute blushing.
