It was quite hard for me to write this chapter because it's almost what happened to me so I'm sorry if it sucks. I would like to thank you for reading this story, it's really amazing. Thanks for your comments/votes. You have no idea of how great it makes me feel to know that some of you might like something I've created.

Demi Lovato's POV.

“Kimberley Walsh” Asked the police officer politely. Kimberley nodded and took my hand in hers. “Mrs Tweedy had a car accident today.” He said and I felt Kimberley falling. I quickly wrapped my arms around her waist and helped her standing up.

“Are they okay?” I asked him. He looked at me and thought a while before answering.

“I don't really know honestly, you should follow me.” I nodded and tightened my grip on Kimberley's waist.

“Let me help you.” I whispered, I took her to her car and sat her on the passenger seat. “I'll be right back.” I said and closed the door. I walked back in the house, took Kimberley's purse and mine. I closed her house's door and sat behind the steering wheel. I started to drive following the police's car.

“I can't believe this is happening.” Said Kimberley looking in front of her.

“I know.” I sighed.

“They were perfectly fine yesterday. They were laughing, they were hugging each other, they were messing around, they were them.” She stated. “I had a feeling something was wrong. I should have made them stay or driven them to the train station.”

“Kimberley don't blame yourself.” I said quickly. “You're not responsible, we don't know what happened.”

“What if they are hurt?” She said looking through the window. We stayed silent the whole car ride. I kept on praying for them to be okay. I parked the car in the hospital's parking lot. “Demi.” Kimberley whispered.

“Yeah?” I said, I unlocked my seat belt and turned to look at her.

“I can't go in.”

“You can, Cheryl needs you.” I said and took her hand in mine. “I'm here too. We're going through this together.”

“I can't live without her.” She said quietly and started to cry. I quickly took her in my arms.

“Take a deep breath, they need us.” I said and rubbed her back. She nodded and took a breath. I pulled away, wiped her tears and gave a small smile. “Let's see your wife.” She nodded again and got out of the car. We walked in, still following the same police officer. He led us in font of a closed door.

“They are here.” He said smiling sadly at us. “If you need anything, I'll be at the canteen.” We nodded and he walked away.

“Demi?” Said Kimberley once we were alone, we were staring at the door.

“Yeah?”

“Are you okay?” She asked me squeezing my hand.

“Yeah, no, wait, I don't know.” I rambled and she wrapped her arms around my neck pulling in a tight hug.

“Take your time, we'll go in as soon as you're ready.” She said gently. I nodded and let my emotions had the best of me. I was not able to fight back the urge of crying. I was worried and afraid. The year I spent without speaking to Cher was harder than everything I had been through. She gave me so much, she made me dependent, she made me so happy. Being without her was like living with a hole. Living with a part of me missing. But today, it was worst. I felt like I had the world leaning on my shoulders. I felt like I was suddenly all alone. I was cold, I felt sick. I was having trouble to breath properly. Kimberley pulled me closer to her. “We need to get in.” She said gently and looked at me sadly. “I need to know how Cheryl is.” She continued and took a deep breath. “Do you want to come too?”
