In Divination

I didn't focus on what Professor Trelawney was telling to the students. And it was Divination, for goodness sake's! I'm a psychic and yet, I truly just zoned out. I thought about last night...thinking how patient Remus was listening to me, at three in the morning. He had his own problems, but he's just that guy that would help others in time of need. This is why I've considered him my "big brother."

I told him about how my life was for the years after James and Lily were killed, and he told me about his. Thing is, our talk felt comfortable. I just forgot about everything that's going on, because I got it all off my chest.

The only problem is, he still doesn't truly believe that Sirius is innocent. It's because he doesn't know about Peter. And I wasn't going to tell him. Remus has to find that out himself.

Snapping me out of my thoughts (everyone always does) was Professor Trelawney dropping a tea cup and screaming, clutching her heart. She came up to me.

"Sapphire...come." She knew about my gift, Dumbledore told her. I was really close to getting this teaching position...but I got different orders.

Trelawney and I walked up to where she saw whatever she did, and it turned out to be Harry's fortune. Oh, this should be good. I rolled my eyes as I thought of this sarcasm.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"My dear, he has...the Grim." She said, terrified.  The Grim is sort of like a dog, and it signals that your death is coming soon. I found it funny that it was Harry this year. Trelawney always gives the Grim to someone on her first lesson. I rolled my eyes.

Another Gryffindor, read from the book what the "Grim" is and everyone found out it was the omen of death.

"Harry, may I see the teacup?" I asked politely. He was frozen in his spot, but handed it to me. I looked into it and saw the tea leaves forming a black dog. The dog looked familiar. A shaggy big black dog.

Sirius.

I took a huge, sharp gasp. Everyone stared at me, including Harry. I put on a smile and gave him back the cup. I whispered in his ear, "Don't worry about it, trust me." And I winked.

A lot of people in the classroom thought I wasn't talking about something related to the lesson, if you catch my drift. Especially because I winked. Oh, aren't I smart?

In The Great Hall

After Care Of Magical Creatures with Hagrid, I was already tired and happy to eat lunch. The lesson was interesting. The kids were learning about Buckbeak, and Harry "volunteered" to bow to him and take him to fly. Then, the Malfoy kid thought he could do the same, but he ended up in the Hospital Wing with his arm hurt. He proclaimed to tell his father about this. Oh Lucy will get a stern talking to. I laughed quietly to myself at that.

"He's been sighted, He's been sighted!!" Screamed a Seamus Finnigan holding a paper in his hands. He set it down at the Gryffindor table.

"Who?" Ron asked, the kids crowding around Seamus, including my daughter.

Oh how I hoped he wouldn't say Sirius Black, oh how I hoped he wouldn't say Sirius Black, oh how I hoped he wouldn't say....

"Sirius Black!!" He screamed. Oh yay.

"Dufftown?" Hermione inquired. "Well, that's not far from here."

"You don't think he can come to Hogwarts, do you?" Neville was frightened.

"Dementors are at every entrance!" Someone said

"Dementors?" Seamus scoffed. "He already slipped past them once, hasn't he? Who's to say he won't do it again?"

"That's right. Black could be anywhere. It's like trying to catch smoke." Someone said.

"Like trying to catch smoke with your bare hands.."

I couldn't hear anymore of this, so I left the Great Hall, to the Defense Against The Dark Arts classroom.

I couldn't help but feel a hot tear falling down my cheek.
