"You really think Snape is going to give you extra credit?" I asked Hermione, laughing.

"Well, I didn't say anything amusing." She glared at me. "Besides, Professor Snape will give me a chance to do extra credit if I need it."

"There's the thing, Hermione! You don't need extra credit!" I rolled my eyes.

"How would you know that?" She put her hands on her hips.

"Because I'm your best friend...and I also know that you get perfect marks on all your assignments." I raised my eyebrow.

"You know, we never got to go to the Shrieking Shack." Ron said.

"I know, Ron." Harry told him.

"Don't worry, Harry. He was just too scared anyway." I chuckled, and so did Harry and Hermione, while Ron gave me a death glare. I playfully shrugged my shoulders.

"Hey, what's going on there?" Harry asked, pointing towards where the Fat Lady should be.

"I bet Neville forgot his password again." Ron rolled his eyes.

"Hey!" Neville said from behind us. Gosh, Ron can be so stupid sometimes.

I heard Percy scrambling to get to the front of the portrait.

Ginny came running towards us. "The Fat Lady! She's gone!" She screamed. My eyes widened at her outburst.

"Serves her right, she was a terrible singer." Ron joked.

"Realllly not funny right now, Ron." I pointed out.

Everybody was panicking, and soon the Headmaster, Filch, and my mum came to the scene.

"Are you guys alright?" My mum asked the four of us. We nodded and she smiled at us before returning to the Headmaster's side.

"Mr. Filch, round up the ghosts. Have them search every painting in the castle to find the Fat Lady." Dumbledore said.

"There's no need for ghosts, Headmaster. Fat Lady's there." Filch said, pointing to a painting. I looked over to see the Fat Lady in the painting with the large black hogs. Everybody in the Gryffindor house came running there, to see her crouching behind one of the large creatures.

"Dear Lady, who did this to you?" Dumbledore asked.

The Fat Lady answered him, sobbing.

"Eyes like the devil, he's got." She let out a huge sob. "And a soul as dark as his name. It's him, Headmaster. The one they all talk about. He's here, somewhere in the castle! Sirius Black!" She shuddered at his name.

I became deaf to all the sounds around me. I noticed the Gryffindors going towards the direction of the Great Hall. Still, I didn't care. I stood there, frozen in my spot.

He's here.

He's really here.
