Amarok!Canada x Reader (part 2)

The wolf hears the howls again. They're calling him back. He starts on his way back to his pack with that human girl in his mind.

Maybe the alpha can tell me what I should do, he thinks to himself.

Once he rejoins his pack, he immediately spots his brother. His brother's fur is a shade darker than his and he's slightly bigger.

"Hey Anuniaq!" His brother calls to him as he bounds up to him happily. "Did you find any hunters today?"

"No," the wolf answered. "How about you, Sangilak?"

(A/N: the names will be explained at the end of this chapter.)

"No, but I did get a caribou we can share!"

"Okay then. I need to go ask Kaskae a question now."

"Kay. See ya later."

Anuniaq approaches the alpha.

"Kaskae," he says to get the attention of the larger wolf. The alpha turns around to face Anuniaq. "What should we do if we find a human who isn't a hunter?"

"Unless they have seen you, nothing," Kaskae answers.

"But what if they did see you?"

"Then you eat them." The alpha narrows his eyes. "Why? Did this happen to you?"

"N-No, I was just curious."

The alpha gives Anuniaq a suspicious look, then returns to what he was doing, which is currently devouring a foolish hunter.

Looks like we're having caribou, thought Anuniaq. When an Amarok hasn't caught a human to eat, they settle on large game for their meal that night. So he went to find his brother and the two shared the caribou.

"You okay bro?" Asks Sangilak halfway through their meal. This causes Anuniaq to look up at his brother, who's tilting his head to the side. "You look upset."

"Oh, I'm fine," he answers. "Just thinking about something, that's all. It's not important."

"Oh, okay."

The two finish off the caribou and Anuniaq wanders off. He's just absent-mindedly walking and he soon finds himself at the edge of the forest. He sees a human home not far from where he's standing and sees a human looking trough a window on the ground floor. It's you.

You see him too. You were just staring off into space before you noticed him there. It's really early in the morning because you couldn't sleep that night. You're there waiting to see the sunrise because you thought why not.

The sun begins to peak over the horizon. Once the first beam of sun hits the wolf, you see it transform into a human man wearing fur clothing.

He looks down at himself, looks in your direction, sees that you've seen that just go down, then runs back into the forest.
