Chapter 11

  I finish feeding Olivia her pancakes and kiss her forehead lightly, tugging her hair behind her ears. I woke up earlier and cooked pancakes for me, Olivia, Tobias and I also sent Dylan some. He was still sleeping, so I just let them on top if the table. I ate mine while everyone was asleep. Tobias loves pancakes so I made a little more than usual and saved him some.
Tobias comes in the room, and hugs me from behind, wrapping his arms around my tummy and resting his chin on my shoulder. My mouth twitches into a smile as I close my eyes and turn my head a little, so I can place a small kiss on his cheek. He buries his face on my neck. "Good morning" I say turning around and pecking his lips while I put the dishes in the machine.
"Thank you god for giving my girlfriend the ability to cook the best food" He says and makes the cross sign across his chest and I chuckle. "Pass me the maple syrup chipmunk" He tells Olivia and she obeys.
   "Can we go to the beach?" Olivia asks.
"Right now?" I ask and she nods.
"I have a few taxes I need to pay today. You guys can go" Tobias says.
"What kind of taxes?"
"Doesn't matter. I can maybe join you guys later" He says taking a bite. He doesn't answer my question, which always frustrates me. Why won't people understand:
Questions are asked to be answered.
So when I ask you a question, answer it.
"Can we go? Please, Tris!" Olivia begs whining and tugging the hem of my shirt and staring at me with her adorable puppy eyes. I sigh in defeat and nod while she stands on the table dancing and squealing. "Thank you"
"But what about your cast? You can't swim" I say and she rolls her eyes, sitting back in the table. She'll have to keep the cast for another few weeks. The cast gets dirty often, but I always tie scarves around it to make it look prettier, and so Olivia can feel better about wearing it. She also likes drawing and painting on it, which is funny and cute when you see her struggle, trying to make the crayons visible on the cast.
   Last night I caught Olivia trying to take her cast off so she could paint better. She almost took it off, but thankfully I was there before she did.
"I'll just make sandcastles" she says in a duh tone which makes me chuckle.
"Okay then. Let's get ready" I say picking her up and sending her to her room. Grinning, Olivia hugs me tightly, thanking me that we are going at the beach. "Where do you keep you swimsuits?" I ask her and she points at a closet drawer. She has lots and lots of swimsuits and I choose a bright neon-yellow one. I help her get dressed since her arm is still in the cast. She groans a little from the sharp, quick pain but then when she gets dressed she looks so relieved. I also slide her in a skirt and put her sandals on.
"I'll wait downstairs" She says and jumps downstairs.
"Okay. I'll be right back" I go over to my room and get my bikini. They're plain, a light shade of gold pink. On top I wear a beach dress which is loose and brush out my hair, leaving it dangle on one side of my shoulders. I put some waterproof mascara and get some sunscreen, sunglasses, two hats, my phone and a book with me. I also get three towels: one for me, one for Olivia, and one if Tobias comes. Walking downstairs I see Tobias cleaning up his plate and Olivia sitting on one of the chairs, waiting for me.
"Ready?" I ask Olivia and she nods smiling. I approach Tobias, wrapping one arm around his waist and kiss him shortly. I pull back fast because Olivia is with us, and I have a feeling that if I didn't stop now, I wouldn't be able to stop any later. He sighs in annoyance while rolls his eyes laughing a bit when I pull back. "Bye. See you later" I say and give him one last kiss on his cheek. "Also, can I borrow you car?" I ask him.
"It's called your car, too. You can't borrow your own car" he says and I chuckle.
"Thanks, love you" I say walking out and closing the door. Olivia runs in the backseat. I place the beach bag on one of the seats behind and start the car, turning the radio while Im at it. Olivia gasps in happiness when the song Hakuna Matata starts playing. I laugh at her excitement as she starts singing the song lyrics. I start the car, and sing along a few lines I know.
