Loki's return

Long Wait

~~~3 1/2 months later~~~

Loki was due about two weeks ago. He was always tired and crabby towards everyone except Fenrir and Sleipnir because he was secretly afraid he was going to lose them again.

"Hey Loks. Do you want or need anything?" Bruce asked as he entered the room. Loki was in bed relaxing as Bruce ordered him to do.

He slowly sat up in the bed and said, "I would like to leave this room."

"Alright. I'll help you up." Bruce said.

Loki swung his legs over the side of the bed and Bruce helped him up the rest of the way. They walked into the living room and Bruce helped him to sit in his chair.

"How much baby things do you guys have?" Tony asked from the couch.

"We have the necessary things. We may need more clothes though." Loki said.

"So you guys have toys and things like that?" Natasha asked.

"We have a few. I could always go out and buy more if we need to." Bruce said.

"I could do that for you." Natasha said.

"If you really want to I guess you could." Bruce said.

"Yes! I will be back in a few hours. Tony get ready. You are coming with me, hurry up." Natasha said getting all the things she needed to leave.

"Why do I have to go?" Tony whined.

"Because you are the one with the money here and I said so. Now hurry up." Natasha said pulling Tony from the couch.

"Where are they going?" Steve asked.

"They are going shopping for toys and things." Bruce said.

"Hey guys! Wait up!" Steve said running after them.

"I guess we only have to worry about the boys and Clint." Bruce said.

"Why would we have to worry about the boys?" Loki asked.

"I don't know. I guess we only have to worry about Clint being in the air ducts or something." Bruce said.

"Why the air ducts?" Loki asked.

"We caught him in there before. He was watching everyone play games. He shot us with spit balls. We thought Thor did it because he was sitting behind all of us." Bruce said.

Loki started to put his hand over stomach but he winced in pain as he did that.

"Are you alright?" Bruce asked worriedly.

"Yes I am fine. I don't think the twins want to wait much longer." Loki said.

It took Bruce a minute to catch what Loki said. "Are you having contractions?" Bruce asked.

"Yes I am." Loki said.

"Ha! Ow! I knew you going to have them today." Clint yelled from the air ducts.

"We also knew that you were up there. Are you alright?" Loki asked.

"I always hit my head when I am up here. I am fine. We should get you to the lab." Clint said jumping out the ducts.

"Did your water break yet?" Bruce asked trying to stay calm. He wasn't doing a very good job.

"Not yet. Now please hurry up and help me up before it does." Loki said. Bruce helped him up.

"Clint go take the boys to Tony's lab and do not let them destroy anything." Bruce ordered.

"Okay." Clint said running off to get the boys.
