Check Up and Other Stuff

(A/N This chapter isn't Aunt May supportive. Sorry about to all of those who like her. I just need her out of the picture without murder.)

"Steve isn't today your appointment?" Tony asked from his chair at his desk.

Steve was on the bed looking at his slightly swollen stomach. "I think so."

"Are you ready to go? I think it is at 11 if I am not mistaken." Tony said looking at the clock. It said 10:49.

"Fine." Steve said getting up. He got dressed, "Are you ready? Because I don't think Bruce would like to see you in your boxers."

"I'll be ready in one minute." Tony said walking into the closet.

"Alright. Hurry up then." Steve said getting up from the bed.

Tony came out of the closet fully clothed, "We can leave now."

"Good. Hopefully you can keep up with me." Steve said. He was excited to be able to see his child.

When they got to Bruce's lab he was waiting for them.

"I am glad that I am this type of doctor now. I don't think the public would be able to handle another one of you two." He said.

"Hey! My Sammy is an angel." Tony said.

"Most of the time." Steve added.

"Shit! I think Sam wants to be here!" Tony said running out the door.

"He'll be back once he realizes that I am already here." Sam said as she walked into the lab.

"How did you?" Steve was trying to ask.

"I was already on my way when dad ran pass me." Sam said, "Now let's get started! I want to see my little brother or sister!"

"We have to wait for your dad to get back." Steve said as Bruce was getting everything set up.

"But papa! I want to see them!" Sam said.

"Then get Jarvis to call him back here." Steve said as he sat down.

"Oh yeah!" Sam yelled. Se went over to the speaker on the wall and said, "Get back to the lab dad! We are going to start without you."

Not even 30 seconds later Tony was back. "I don't think so." He said panting because he was out of breath.

"Good. You're back. Now we can start. Steve, please lean back and lift your shirt." Bruce said.

Steve did as he was told. "This is going to be a bit cold." Bruce said as he put the gel on Steve's stomach.

Everyone went quiet trying to listen for the baby's heartbeat. All of the sudden they heard little thumps.

"There it is. There is your child's heartbeat. Good rate too." Bruce said.

"Thank goodness! I thought that they were going to have my heart problems from when I was younger." Steve said relieved.

"I don't think we have to worry about that. Sammy turned out perfect!" Tony said.

"Good. You all know I am a perfect child." Sam said.

"You know for a five year old you do have a lot of sass." Bruce said.

"I get it from dad." Sam said.

"You learned from the best." Tony said.

"Oh please don't let this child be sassy." Steve said.

"To get back on track." Bruce said, "Steve, you are a little big for how far along you are. Do you think you could be further along?"

Steve covered Sam's ears, "I could be. I did let Tony top a lot." He said as he removed his hands.
