"Shit. Magrathea!"

"I'm running!!"

"Well run faster, you're in the way of my shot!"

" I'm trying! The damn boar is just too fast."

"Oh my god, fine. I'll go in hand to hand."

"Wait what?"

I leapt from the branch I was standing one and started into a sprint straight for the enraged boar. The behemoth, already moving faster than many humans could follow, started to accelerate. Fortunately, Magrathea had training running around the forest with me. Since age 2.

"Asura!!"

"Hold on, hold on."

And fortunately, I'm not fully human.

The world blurred for a moment as I accelerated to match the boar's speed. The surroundings melded into one cohesive green and brown mixture.

And I was beside the boar. A good blast into his side sent a huge bellow from the beast, shaking the trees. My ears were still ringing when the boar skidded to a stop and turned to face me, eyes full if fury. It was fully berserk.

And it charged me. The world blurred again as I leapt out of the way in time to land two good hits on his right side and a kick to its back leg. It just continued until it hit a huge pine tree head on, embedding a long scythed tusk in it

It just took it out and turned to charge again.

So Magrathea shot it in the eye with his bow. And the idiot got too close. The boar, literally blinded with bloodlust, went for him.

It was all I could do to cover him with my body before the tusk dug into my guts.
