"Keep the water moving along the line!!"
"Arthur, get out of the way, the children are fetching more lake water."
"More people are needed at Gerald's house! John, Mary, get some kids over there!"
"Asura? Asura!"
"..."
"Asura, help them, they need more people! Half the fire is out but the rest-"
"I can't stop the fire in time."
"But if you go now, we can still-"
"I CAN'T STOP IT!!! THERE'S NO SAVING THIS MESS!!! THE JÄGER WON!!!"
"Asura..."
"Just let me go. I'll go find that...what's a word for fat, smelly, cheating, scheming, vile, putrid, juvenile lump of foolish shit?"
"Asura, if you don't get yourself together, that word will be Asura."
"Stay here with the villagers. I have work to do."
"I can help."
"You'll get killed again. And I can only revive so many people a year."
"You're going after them."
"Stay with your mother. She really won't like me after this mess is sorted out."
"He was there, wasn't he? Thomas Lame."
"Kane. He'll have to use one after I'm done with him."
"Why are you so pissed?"
"Why aren't you?! Your village has been decimated. He succeeded. That sly son I an ass finally got what he wanted. And..."
"There's more to this. You're not telling me everything."
"You don't need to know everything. The last time you did, you almost did what Kane just finished doing."
"What are you talking about? I don't understand."
"Exactly. You don't understand. Neither do I. I don't know why they want the entrance to the Catacombs, I don't know what's in there, and I don't have the faintest idea why they took Krista!!"
That last one was like a sledgehammer, freezing the duo in their places, the reality finally dawning on them. They had lost. For the first in their partnership, they had lost. Nothing to gain, everything to lose.
"We'll go and get her back."
"Not without Sir Lousy Pants driving a jet of flame through her pretty head."
"It sounds like you rehearsed that."
"200 times. I'll show him how to drive a jet of flame up his ass. Might roast all his shit and power the planet for centuries."
"That's the Asura I know."
"Let's just get her back."
