"Where have we gone for the past week again?"
"We went camping for two days, hung me for one, then we went fishing for three and that leaves the target practice at Emerald Clearing."
"So far we've only went close by?"
"I wouldn't call drowning in the ocean close by."
"No training today then."
"Yes! I mean, no..."
"..."
"You look extra serious today. You didn't even finish the stew."
"I'm going off. Into the forest."
"Hunting trip? Can I go with you?"
"Yeah hunting trip. No, you can't."
"Why? I can handle myself! I nearly killed you the other day."
"That's your finest qualification? You can't even focus your power right."
"Please."
"Nein."
"Fine. Can I at least know why?"
"No. And don't pout, it doesn't suit your face. Nothing does."
I should have told him why. Or things wouldn't have turned out so differently.
