Chapter Thirty
"A treaty?" Esme sounded uncomfortable. We had just finished telling her about Ephraim Black.
"Yes. This means we HAVE to keep in control." I glanced at Emmett and noticed everyone else had too.
"I'll try..." He bit his lip.
"In the meantime, Rosalie and Edward will be attending high school again."
"Are you going to find work in the hospital?" Esme asked. I smiled.
"Yes I shall."
"Then Emmett, you should stay with Esme." Emmett shook his head.
"I want to study. Please? It was a simple mistake and I won't do it again, I'm sure." Esme and I exchanged a glance. I then looked back to Emmett.
"Okay we'll give you a trial."
"Are you all planning on studying something different this time?" Esme asked.
"I was thinking of doing engineering. Spice things up a bit." Rose smiled.
"Music." Edward nodded.
"What about you, Emmett?" Emmett thought for a bit.
"History I think."
"We'll get you sorted for that, starting next week." Esme said, clapping her hands together.
"You can do that while I go to the hospital and get a job sorted." I stood up as I spoke, kissing her on the cheek then left to get changed.
