------Laurence's POV-------

I see some guard that I don't recognize talking to Cadenza. He starts yelling at her. She is trying to calm him down, and she's really calm about it. He suddenly raises his fist to punch her, and that makes me angry, because NO-ONE touches my sister. I run as fast as I can to them, and push Cadenza out of the way as he swings his fist. He slams me in the mouth. I feel really winded and woozy... I touch my upper lip, and when I look at my hand, my fingers have some blood on them. I probably got a bloody nose.. Aphmau and Cadenza both freak out a little, and Aphmau gets aggressive towards the guard. She scares him off, and continues to make sure I'm okay. Cadenza squishes me with a hug, and I try to tell her I'm okay, but I can't focus. All I can manage to say is, "I... I'm f-fine... Cadenza..." And then I fall down and pass out.

I am falling down a dark hole. I can't see anything, but a small circle of light, slowly disappearing from above. Now I'm sure that I'm falling. Suddenly the whole scene changes. I'm in a meadow full of a lot of different flowers. Aphmau is a few yards away, picking flowers. I hear soft sobbing. I walk in Aphmau's direction, and the sobbing gets louder. I walk up to her, and see tears streaming down her cheeks. She stands up and turns around to me. She drops the flowers, and gasps. "...L-Laurence?!" She says and hugs me, so tight that I can't breathe. "I-I t-thought y-you w-were d-dead!" she says between tears. "I... Don't think so, do I look dead?" I ask confused. She giggles and steps back. "Wait.. How are you here though? You.. You died in the village fire!" she says. "Huh? What village fire?" I ask curiously. "The fire that happened in Meteli.. Sasha and a lot of other shadowknights lit the village on fire. You went into a villager's house to save their child.. You managed to get her out alive, but... You.. didn't make it..." She cries more. I hug her and comfort her. "Shh... I'm right here..." I say. "There was something I wanted to do before what happened... But I never had the courage to do it.." she mumbles. "What?" I ask. "This." She looks up and kisses me. She doesn't stop for a long time. I don't resist it. I wrap my arms around her waist, and I brush a strand of her hair behind her ear. I swear, I am blushing so badly right now. Suddenly everything around me goes white.

 I blink multiple times. Aphmau and Cadenza are standing over me, tending to my injury. (Sorry, I didn't really know how to phrase that! XD) Aphmau sees me open my eyes, and immediately starts making sure I'm okay. "Laurence! Are you okay!? Geez, that damn guard knocked you out cold!" she says. Cadenza bent down and hugged me really tight. Not as tight as Aphmau did, though. Aphmau leans down and kisses my forehead. I can feel myself blush, but I don't care. Cadenza squeals quietly, and I laugh, but then I wince. I forget, my jaw is probably bruised or something. Therefore, it hurt when I laughed. I frown. "Awh man! Does that mean I can't crack any jokes for a while?" I whine. "If it hurts to laugh, then yes." Cadenza smirks. Aphmau dips a rag in warm water and dabs it on my busted lip. "Ow! Damn, that stings!" I say, gripping the blanket. "Wait a sec.. Where are we?" I ask, trying to sit up. Aphmau pushes me back down, and I sigh. "The infirmary." Cadenza says. "Uh oh.. Laurence, don't worry, but you have a pretty bad bruise around the left side of your mouth.." I roll my eyes. "How bad is it?" I ask. "It's a dark purple." She says and gives me a small make up mirror. Holy crap, she wasn't kidding. "Uh.. is there any sort of mask thing here?" I ask. "I want to cover up my mouth, at least until this bruise gets lighter." I say. Cadenza grins. "I can make one for you! My Irene, it's been forever since I've gotten to sew anything!" she says. "Okay.. Just don't do anything weird to it please.." I say. Cadenza runs over to a cabinet and grabs her old sewing machine. "Whoa! You kept the one I gave you for your birthday?" I ask surprised. "Of course! I wouldn't throw away a perfectly good sewing machine!" she says and puts it on the table beside the bed I'm laying on. She gets a stepladder and climbs up to a high cabinet and grabs an emerald-green colored fabric. It has a bit of a sparkle to it, but I don't mind. She gets a sewing needle and sits down on a stool in front of the table. She quickly gets to work. After about thirty minutes of her poking herself with the needle and flipping the fabric around, she's finished. I see her fingers, and they've been pricked so many times that I gag a little. She holds up her newly made mask/scarf, and says, "Ta-da!!!" And hands it to me. It's a really nice looking mask. It has a little glitter, but it's fine. She used a black thread and spelt Laurence Zvahl along the bottom of the mask. "I like it a lot. Thanks sis!" I say and admire it. I prop myself up, and try it on. I use a mirror to see how I look in it. "It'll take a while to get used to this.." I mutter. "You look handsome in it." Aphmau says. "Heh, thanks." I laugh a little. "Ow!" I wince. "Would you like something to eat Laurence?" Cadenza asks. I realize that I am starving. "YES." I say. Cadenza always cooked dinner for us when we were younger. She was the best cook in the house! I usually always burnt our dinner a bit... So Cadenza became the cook of the house. "Hm.. Oh! I know what I'll cook!" Cadenza smirks. "Uh oh.." I mutter. Aphmau giggles and Cadenza laughs. Cadenza goes upstairs to the infirmary's kitchen. Suddenly Garroth opens the door. He ignores me, and walks over to Aphmau. "Hi Lady Aphmau. Are you holding up well?" He asks. I glare at him. "Why so formal?" she smirks. "I... I- uh.. Dunno," he replies rubbing the back of his neck. "How's... 'he' doing?" Garroth asks and gestures to me. "I'm right here you know." I say and roll my eyes. Garroth ignores me again. I stand up and Aphmau drops the rag in the bowl of water and tries to get me to lay back down. "Please Aphmau, I need to say something to Garroth here." I pull him over to the opposite side of the room. "Garroth. You are avoiding me, and I'd  like to know why." Garroth just stares at me. Then he speaks. "Aphmau doesn't need to hear this."  I roll my eyes at him. "Fine. I'll ask her to go upstairs with Cadenza." I say. I turn towards Aphmau. "Aphmau... Can you go upstairs with Cadenza for a few minutes?" I ask. She nods and goes upstairs. Everything goes quiet upstairs. I can tell that they are both at the very top of the stairs listening to our conversation. I shrug and begin talking. The girls start humming and whistling. "You can stop eavesdropping now." I say and they both quickly get up and walk back to the stoves. "Now you, Mr. They aren't involved now." I whisper. There's a lot of tension between me and Garroth. "What is with you! What did I do to make you avoid me.. Or throw this little fit you've been having?!" I whisper-yell. I can tell Garroth is mad, because his cheeks are somewhat red, and I know he's not blushing. "You... Are... Making... Too... Many... Moves... On... Aphmau." He says and tightens his fists. I back up a little. "What?! Our agreement said, that whenever I came back to Phoenix Drop, we were both competing for Aphmau." I say. "I came back less than two months ago!" I say. "You need to pick up your game, man. 'Cause I am gonna sweep 'er off her feet!" I say, smirking. (I know, I know. That sounded really derpy. I didn't know how to phrase it.... Again..) Garroth doesn't say anything for a few minutes. He just punches me in the stomach. "Hey! What was that for!?" I say, half winded. He leaves, and slams the door behind him. "I never expected Garroth to get physical with you..." Cadenza says, coming downstairs. Aphmau stares at the door in disbelief. "Wow..." she says at last. She runs out the door after Garroth. Cadenza asks me if I'm okay. "I'm fine.. That just winded me a little." I reply. I stare at the door. "Should I go after her?" I ask. "Let them talk." Cadenza says. "What exactly were you two fighting about, anyways?" she asks. "Uh... An agreement that Garroth can't handle apparently." I say. Cadenza gave me a funny look. "What kind of agreement?" she asks. "Um... We're kind of competing for Aphmau..." I say awkwardly. Cadenza just stared at me. "Aren't you guys 'brothers'?" she asks. "I... Honestly don't know anymore." I sigh.  Cadenza lifts up my shirt a little to see where Garroth hit me. I have a big red imprint on my stomach. "You.. should ice that." Cadenza says. She guides me over to the bed.... again... and makes me lay down. "Why...? I don't waaannnttttt to..." I whine. "I don't care. You will rest, or else." Cadenza threatens. "Geez, sis. You can be scary when you want to.." I say. She giggles. "Do you like cheese?" I ask her smirking. "Yes..?" She says. "Well I think cheese is really Gouda!" I say. "Wow..." Cadenza sighs and punches me in the arm. "Ow! Why!!!!" I laugh slightly, trying not to hurt my mouth again. Cadenza gets an ice pack and wraps it up in a thin towel. She lays it on my stomach and I wince. One, because it's cold, and two, because my stomach hurts there. "I'll leave you here to rest." Cadenza says. She leans down and kisses my forehead, and quietly leaves the infirmary. After a few minutes I relax, and fall asleep.

Hope you guys enjoyed this super long chapter! xD Truth be told, I think this is the longest chapper I've made for now... It's got 1811 words so far!!!!!! Geez, Garroth needs to cool down. Although I won't blame him if it's because of fangirl/boy rage :D xD Also, EPISODE 76 OMG GARROTH AAAAAAAHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
