"That's the thing.." Travis said. "He thinks you kidnapped Nicole." Katelyn says. "WHAT?! She moved here on her own free will!" Laurence says. "He's gonna declare war if you don't return her when Scaleswind's army shows up at the gates.." Travis says. "Garroth! Dante! Go find Nicole, now." I demand. "How did he even know she was here?" I ask. "Someone named... Zane Ro'Meave?" Garroth swings his head around and glares at Travis. "Someone get to the cells... NOW." he growls. Garroth and Dante start running outside to look for Nicole, and Laurence takes off towards the cells. I soon take off running too. When we get there, surprisingly Zane's in his cell... But he had to've escaped somehow earlier! We've barely been checking up on him... That would've given him time to use magicks or escape... "Darn it! We need more guards to watch these cells!" I mutter. He looks up from sharpening a dagger at us, and smirks from beneath his mask. "G'day to you too, Lady Aphmau, Little Laurence." Laurence growls at him. "What did you do? Tell us or else." I threaten. "Me? I've been locked up in here for days. I haven't done anything." he says, in a pouty voice. "Lies." Laurence growls. Then things got weird.  "I'm all around you, heck. I might've even managed to go convince him that you kidnapped her. Humans are such idiots." Zane starts talking nonsense. Laurence opens the door and walks inside the cell. "What. Did. You. Do? Tell us before things get messy, Zane." he growls. He starts pulling his sword out of its scabbard. "I'm not intimidated, if that's what you were aiming for." (If you caught that pun you get a virtual hug.) I snicker under my breath and walk in behind Laurence, shutting the door, and swinging the keys around my finger. "Aphmau, you sho-" he got interrupted by a taunt from Zane. "Please, don't wear her name out. I could hear you using it all morning from here." I blush and glare at him, and Laurence tries to punch him for that. The only thing is... Laurence's fist goes straight through his head. Zane body shimmers and disappears. "It... It was an illusion! Th-that's why he said he was all around us.." Laurence growls. "Hurry.. I don't know how much time we have to find Nicole." We head out of the cell area and go outside. "Laurence! Aphmau! W-We couldn't find her..!" Dante huffs, running up to us with Garroth at his side. "Zane.. He made an illusion! H-He's gone!" I say, worry in my tone. "I.. Have someone from Meteli who might be able to help us find her... Dante, Garroth, you guys KEEP APHMAU SAFE. I'm going to come back here with her all in one piece, got it?" Laurence commands. The boys nod their heads frantically, and Laurence starts running off towards the gates. "We need to prepare for possible... As much as I hate to say it.. We need to prepare for upcoming ...war... if we can't find her... Garroth, gather everyone up for a town meet." I demand. (AHH DAMMIT I JUST ELECTROCUTED MY FINGER IRL BEING STUPID WITH MY IPAD CHARGERRRR)
