"Well, there are two things I'd like to find. First one is a magic moss that can heal and the other one is a magic flower. Its juice has many properties from what I heard. I never got to study it and nor did grunkle Ford. But sadly I only have a small idea about where the flower is and no clue about the moss." Dipper said and Will nodded. "I think I know where the moss is." Will said absentminded and Dipper looked at him. "Really?" "Yeah. I'll go and see if I'm right and if I am I'll bring some." He said and before Dipper could protest he ran off.
Dipper sighed and he left the path. After around a half an hour of walking he finally reached a dark clearing. He looked up and saw the sun was still up. He furrowed his eyebrows and sighed deeply.'This isn't gonna be good.' He thought and looked around. All the grass and all the flowers were dead. No animals, birds or insects of any kind were around and that gave Dipper a bad feeling. He finally spotted a small black and read flower with 10 small petals and he slowly went towards it hoping it wouldn't be guarded by some kind of monster and for his luck it wasn't. He put his backpack down and took from it a vial and a small scissors. He cut the flower's stalk and put the flower inside the vial closing it.
"Hello there!" A cheerful voice said and he jumped almost dropping the vial, but catching it in the last moment. He stood up and turned around only to be greeted by Will's wide grin. But something else caught Dipper's attention. His lover was completely soaking wet. "What the fuck happened to you?!" He said with his eyes widened and Will shrugged his shoulders. "I just swon a bit. And I got you this!" He said and pulled from behind his back a vial with something green inside of it. "You actually found it?"Dipper asked as he took the vial. Will nodded and Dipper sat tip toe and pressed his lips against Will's, dropping the vials as he grabbed Will's face in his hands. Will's eyes widened in shock but then he closed his eyes and smirked widely. Dipper pulled away and blushed intensely. "I'm sorry. I got a bit carried away." Dipper said and Will chuckled.
"Don't be sorry." He said and his smirk widened, if that was humanely possible. "I liked it." He finished and Dipper blushed harder before realizing he wasn't holding the vials anymore. He looked down at his hands and then around him, until he spotted the two vials, at his feet, not a scratch on them. He took them and went over to his backpack and put them inside.  "Considering that there are only a few hours until our date you could hang around with me." Will purred in Dipper's ear and Dipper smirked. "Why not?" He said and shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. Will grinned ear to ear and took Dipper's hand and Dipper's backpack.
"Why are you in such a hurry?" Dipper asked laughing at his partner's excitement. "What? I love spending! If that is a crime then you can arrest me." He said while turning his head to face Dipper. Dipper laughed harder as Will let go of Dipper's hand and put his backpack down and laid on the soft grass from the front of his cabin. "Care to join me?" Will asked with a smirk. Dipper smiled as his lover and took his backpack, taking it inside of the cabin. He came back out and sat down next to Will. "Come closer!" Will demanded and pulled Dipper laid down on his chest. Dipper giggled and wrapped his arms around Will. "Comfy?" Will asked and Dipper shook his head with a big grin on his face. He laid next to Will and Will laid his head in the crook of Dipper's neck.
"Now I'm comfortable." Dipper said and Will softly kissed Dipper's neck. "This is definitely much better." He muttered against Dipper's neck. Will closed his eyes and felt somebody approaching him and Dipper. ' Shooting Star.' He thought and let his body relaxed so he seemed asleep. Dipper fell for the trick and chuckled quietly. ' He's finally getting the sleep he needs.' Dipper thought just as Mabel was approaching him "Hey!" She yelled and Dipper hushed her while being careful not to move. "Will's asleep!" Dipper whispered and Mabel sat down next to him. "Oh, sorry!" She said quietly. "He's finally asleep, huh?" She asked and Dipper nodded. "Yeah, I suppose he only needed to do some... swimming."
Dipper answered and told Mabel about what he and Will found today.
"Well I think he might get a cold."Mabel said in conclusion to Dipper's story."I agree."Dipper sighed and started playing with Will's hair. 'I'm a demon. I don't get sick.' Will thought annoyed at the twins useless concern. A loud buzz was heard all of sudden and Mabel pulled out her phone from her pocket. She looked at it for a minute before saying: "This is my cue. Got to go!" She said as she ran away leaving the man and the demon alone.  Dipper yawned and his eyelids got heavy. A second ago he was wide awake but now he could barely keep his eyes open. He gave in and closed his eyes, falling asleep in an instant. Will stood up and smirked. "Sweet dreams! Now let's see what you came across!" He said and went inside, leaving Dipper to sleep on the soft grass. He looked around the room and found Dipper's backpack next to the table. He went over to the table and sat on a chair. He opened the backpack and looked for the vial with the flower. He found it and examined the flower, smirking when he recognised it.
"The flower of the dead. I guess today is my lucky day." He said and then he sighed, he smirk fading. "But I can't use it, just yet."He said and looked outside through the window at Dipper, who was still sleeping peacefully. Will sighed deeply and put the vial on the table as he looked again in the backpack. He put on the table a brown book with metal edges and with a 7 written in black on it and two pens. He took the black pen as he opened the book at an empty page and he started to write.
*
Dipper opened his eyes and yawned. He sat up and looked around him confused. It was dark outside and Dipper couldn't believe he slept for so long. He looked on his right and stood up panicked looking around him. His eyes found the cabin and light was coming through the windows. He ran inside and found Will in front of the stove, mixing in a pot. "Hey! You woke up!" Will said turning his head to Dipper. "Yeah. I see you woke up too." He said and pulled a chair and sat down. He pur his elbow on the table but it hit something. He looked at the table and saw his journal, pens and the vial with the flower he found today. "I hope you don't I left some notes about this flower you found. I remembered a few things I found in a book a few years ago." Will said as he returned his attention to the pot. "Oh, no, I don't mind!" He said and smiled as he opened the journal. He skimmed through it until he spotted Will's calligraphic handwriting. He looked through the notes and smiled. "Thanks for the help!" He said as he looked at his partner. "Sure. But if I were you I wouldn't drink from that flower's juice under any circumstances. I have  a bad feeling about it." Will said with what Dipper read as concern.  "Alright. Anything for you." He said as he walked behind Will and wrapped his arms around his waist. Will smirked as he added some spice in the pot.
"I'm curious, what are you cooking here?" Dipper asked as he laid his head on Will's back. "A sauce for the spaghetti we're having tonight." Will explained and smirked wider. "They aren't poisoned, are they?" Dipper asked with a smirk. "How dare you accuse me of such thing!" Will said in a fake hurt tone. "Yeah, yeah, you're right! I was just messing with you." Dipper said and sitting on his tip toes he kissed Will's cheek. Will's smirk turned into a grin and he turned off the stove. "Would you be a sweetheart and bring two plates while I look for a blanket?" Will asked sweetly and Dipper chuckled. "Sure." He said as he let go of Will and started looking through the counters as Will left the room. Dipper found the plates when Will came back with a black blanket. "How about you'll put the food on the plates while I'll go and put the blanket outside?" Dipper asked and took the blanket without waiting for Will's response.
He went outside and looked for the perfect spot and he found it next to the lake. He unfolded the blanket, which at the second glance is black with a huge yellow eye of Providence in the middle of it. Dipper put it down on the soft grass and ran inside when he heard Will call for help. "What happened?" Dipper asked as he stormed inside. "I have too many things to carry." Will cried out and Dipper furrowed his eyebrows. "That's all? I'd gladly help but I thought you got hurt.He said and Will smiled apologetically." "What do you want me to carry?" Dipper asked and Will handed him two plates full with spaghetti covered in a red sauce. Dipper took the plates and went outside, closely followed by Will who was holding two wine glasses in one hand and what he guessed was a wine bottle in the other. Dipper reached the blanket and carefully put the plates down, sitting down next to them, with Will joining shortly after.
"I hope this isn't too cheesy!" Will said as he opened the wine bottle. "I've never been on a date before so I have no clue what I'm doing. When I was in high school the only thing I had in my head was codes. Who had time for dates when you could encrypt a 1000 pages book, right?" He said and both him and Dipper laughed. "I totally understand. I was the same way. But I was also very paranoid." Dipper said as Will was pouring wine in the glasses. "Yeah, and then college came and it was a mess. So much to learn!" Will said and Dipper kissed his cheek.  "But wasn't it worth it?" He asked and Will nodded. "It was..." He said thoughtfully and took a sip from the red wine.
"Does playing chess while drinking tea counts as a date?" He asked as Dipper took a big mouthful of spaghetti. After hearing his partner's question he swallowed fastly and answered: "I suppose." "Then I went on one date before." Will said and laughed. "With one more than me." Dipper said and then he asked with curiosity: "Who you went on a date with before me?" Will chuckled and then he answered: "It was my ex-boyfriend. I met him years ago and he was exactly what I was looking for. He was smart, he already had 12 PhDs when I met him, and he was very curious. Especially about science and the supernatural. Turns out I have a type." Will said with a sad smile.
"What happened between you two?" Dipper asked without noticing the sadness from the demon's face. "We broke up. Actually he broke up with me." Will said and his smile faded. He took the bottle of wine and filled his glass with wine until it almost started spilling out and then he emptied it in a sip. He looked up at Dipper and smiled widely as he said: "Now let's eat, alright?" Dipper smiled sadly at him but didn't say anything. They both ate silently from time to time taking sips from the wine. Will looked sad the whole time and that was torturing Dipper inside and he felt quilty he brought up Will's ex-boyfriend. After they finished eating Dipper was about to say something but Will acted as if he wasn't even there. He was drinking glass after glass of Wine and staring absently at the lake.
-"Will..." Dipper said softly and Will turned his head surprised. Dipper took the glass and the bottle from his lover's hands and put them down embracing Will in a hug. Will wrapped his arms around Dipper's waist and laid his head on his shoulder. "How about I'll clean up here and you'll wait here. And when I'll be back I'll give you the biggest hug you received in your entire life and I'll cuddle the sadness out of you!" Dipper said and Will nodded. Dipper took all the dishes and took them inside and then he returned, finding Will look absentminded at the full moon. "It really hurts, doesnt it?" He asked and sat down. "Yeah." Will said and laid his head on Dipper's shoulder. Dipper yawned loudly and Will chuckled. "I think somebody needs some sleep." He said and Dipper groaned. "I just woke up. I can't be tired already." He said and Will raised one of his eyebrows. "Uhm...yes, you can. You've been sleep deprived for 19 years. I'm not surprised you can fall asleep right after you just woke up. So now hush and go to sleep!" Will said harshly and that sent a cold chill down Dipper's back.
Will took his head off Dipper's shoulder and embraced him in a tight hug. Dipper yawned again and laid his head on Will's shoulder, falling asleep in an instant. Will smiled and laid Dipper down on the blanket. He went inside and came back with a bottle of whiskey in his hand. He sat next to Dipper and looked at the lake while taking sips from the whiskey. 'Why does this affect me so much? Does it have to do with my human form? No, it doesn't, you don't fucking get feelings once you get a human form.' He thought and sighed. He shot a look at Dipper making sure he was still sleeping peacefully and then he looked back at the lake. He mentally slapped himself and demanded inside of his head: 'Get you fucking shit together, Cipher! You can't let a human get the best out of you. Especially if he's dead and more importantly when you're the one who killed him!' He finished and sighed. It didn't work. He was still hurting, or that's what he thought. He wasn't sure. He was utterly confused. All these feelings were confusing.
He spent the rest of the night drowning his confusion in whiskey while looking at the lake. From time to time he would glance over at Dipper to make sure he was still sleeping peacefully.
