The Deal (Billdip Fanfic)

Wow, I'm probably gonna get killed for this but...I'm discontinuing this story. And before yelling at me let me justify my decision. I'm not saying you all can't yell at me, do it, I understand why would you do it. I love reading fanfiction too and if a fic I liked got discontinued I would be very upset. But hear my reasoning first.
I'm not going to say that I don't have any inspiration, because that would be a lie, but the reason I am doing this is because I finished writing this and I realized what a disorganised mess this whole fanfic is. So many OOC characters, and so many things left unexplained, I introduced a new plot line in the last fucking chapter. It's, it's just a mess that I can't continue. As a writer I am quite the perfectionist and this is just too much for me. And I would fix it, but it would take me an insane amount of time, which I could use to write something else, something better planned, with a better plot, with characters that are much more in-character and so on.
And honestly, this was my first attempt at a fanfic, which I just dived in with no plan what-so-ever and I barely knew the characters, I just watched the show like once and read some fanfics, which are not reliable sources for character characterisation, especially when it comes down to Billdip fanfiction. In the past 8 months my vision on the characters(well, mostly Bill) and on the show and even the quality of my writing and my writing style changed and as much as I'd like to finish this fanfic I just can't bring myself to do so.
Originally I thought about just deleting this fanfic, but ultimately I've decided against it. Mostly because I want to have it as a comparing tool when I'll write other fanfics(or even just with short stories).
And lastly, I'd like to apologise to all of you for not finishing this fanfic and hopefully you'll like some of my other stories.
