Chapter Twenty One-Quiet

*Demi's POV*

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! The alarm shouted in my ear, I winced at the sound, it was 6:30am, I had to get up and get ready to go to the interview and make up. I squinted at the light that peeked through my curtains, and I wrote Jessie a note, leaving it on the table by the sofa. I hopped into my car after getting dressed and drove to the studio the interview was being held.

*Jessie's POV*

I woke up slowly and glanced at the clock, it was 7:43am and I was awake at this ungodly hour?! I remembered me and Demi's conversation last night and all the drama and I frowned to myself. I was just a burden on Demi. She would have been much, much happier with another child.

I got dressed and cut a couple of times thinking of how bigger burden I was on Demi. I slipped some bracelets on and went downstairs, into the living room. The house was quiet... Too quiet. I picked up a piece of paper and read what Demi had written: Dear Jessie, I am at an interview and I will be back as soon as I can, ring me if you need anything, love you baby girl! Mum xx

I sighed, placing the paper on the table and turning on the telly. I watched Disney channel whilst playing on my phone. Ugh, why is life so boring!

*Demi's POV*

"Demi!" The interviewer greeted as I ran on, "Hey!" I greeted, I had completely forgotten their name, great start, Demi, great start. We went through loads of questions and I answered all of them, one of them was 'How are you finding living in England?' I answered, I wasn't sure how to put that I had adopted a child so I left that out, "Well, it's nice, and I love it, but it is quite hard at the same time!" I laughed. Finally the interview came to an end and I could go home! As soon as I got into my dressing room, I texted Jessie,

On my way home hunny, love you :* xx

I locked my phone and slipped it into my pocket before getting in my car to face the 30 minute drive that I had ahead of me...

Well, chapter twenty one! I wouldn't have thought you guys like my book so much as to say carry on! Haha, well I will update today and I hope you liked it! It's gonna get escalated again in chapter twenty two! ;)
