Chapter Eight-Me, Myself and Time

*Jessie's POV*

I woke up, feeling something around my stomouch, I jumped slightly and over to see Demi! Aw she looked so cute when she is asleep! I prized her arms away and sprung up, going to the closet to get some clothes and get changed, "Where are you going?" A sleepy voice stuttered behind me, I swung around, revealing a newly awaken Demi lying on my bed, arms outstreched in my direction. "I'm gonna get changed!" I replied, "Stay? 5 more minutes? The beds cold without you!!" She whined, making me laugh a little at her puppy dog eyes, that's when I noticed, she was giving me care and love, but I wasn't sure whether to get used to it or not-I'd never been cared for or loved before, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see whether or not it is real.

I stumbled over to the bed, as I got in, she hugged me again, "Yay!" She said like a child, pecking me on the forehead. I giggled.

~10 minutes later~

I was running... running for my life... I bumped into someone on the street, "Hey littelen!" They sneered. "Hi!" I said, slightly scared, "Where are you from?" They asked, it was a tall, bulky lady, "That house over there!" I was glad someone was speaking to me though! I was only 7, and not knowing much, I gave away too much, "Where are you parents?" She asked, "My mummy is dead.." A small, fragile tear slipped down my cheek, "And I don't know where my dad is..." I murmured, she picked me up, I put up a fight, "No! Leave me alone!" I cried, "Shh, it's okay! My name is Tina, I won't hurt you!" She lied, I didn't know at the time that she was lying. She put me in the back of her van and drove off... That's when it started.
