#25 NIGHT TURNED TO NIGHTMARE

*Flashback* (Continued)

Angel's POV

Ishanth.. I didn't feel butterflies in my stomach while hearing his name. My heart didn't flutter while seeing him. But still I felt something special about him. I thought that I was in love with him.

Still I didn't let him to guess what I felt for him. My superiority and egoistic thoughts resisted me from telling him. I didn't like to fall in love just like that. So I thought to analyze myself first.

Whenever I leave to cafeteria sneaking from his eyes, when I reach there, Ishanth would be there before me with two cappuccinos. So I started expecting him to be there every time I go. I wondered whether that was love.

Once there was a problem with my presentation because of one of my team mates. She purposely deleted few of the slides because of her jealousy since Ishanth denied her proposal. I was tensed and started shedding tears unknowing what to do.

Then Ishanth took care of the presentation and comforted me. The problem maker girl stood there staring us with reddish eyes. I winked at her. Was this love was the question lingering in my mind at that moment.

Finally one day, Ishanth proposed me. It happened on an office get together party. Buffet dinner was arranged and on the other side,my colleagues were showing out their talents on stage.

When I left the place to get the food items and came back, there was a red rose and a paper on my table.It was written that

'I love you Lisa. This song is for you. Waiting for your reply. With love, the one and only Ishanth.'

I chuckled on reading the line 'one and only Ishanth'. He was really thinking high and mighty about himself. At that moment, I heard a wonderful music emerging from a guitar. It was him on the stage playing guitar and singing one of my favorite songs.
