Dave's POV
Dr. Wesley looked at me , " You and two of our nurses are going for a camp for three months in Cape Town. "
"Doc I don't..." He didn't allow me to continue.
" You'll be staying at a home run by Indian sisters for ill children and aged people. I'll let you know the address. Mother Susan who is in charge of that home will tell you what you have to do there. " he told me what to do. I'm going to say no.
" Why are you being silent? " he asked me raising his voice.
" I .. er.. I'll do as you say Doc. " I bit my tongue after replying. Dave you are such a waste.
Dr. Wesley's POV
When I told Dave about the camp, I saw his face getting stiffened. I know Dave will not be interested to go there. But I have to do something to fulfill the promise I made to his dad.
Dave didn't want to be a Doctor. He didn't understand the value of his profession. His dad, my friend wished him to be a perfect Doctor.
I promised him that Dave is my responsibility and I'll make him love his profession.
I tried my best for the last two years. But I couldn't change him. I don't want to accept my failure yet. I'm sure that this medical camp will change him.
Dave, my boy, you will return back as the real Dr. Davison Alfred as we wished.
Third person's POV
Dave started from Johannesburg for a 13 hours travel to reach Cape Town.
The Cape Town region is generally with its Mediterranean climate, extensive coastline, rugged mountain ranges, coastal plains, inland valleys and semi-desert fringes.
Dave drove his black Ford Ecosport enjoying the beautiful sites on the way. He finally arrived his destination. The board " Bethlehem House " welcomed him.
The two nurses and the necessary things for the medical camp reached the house already.
Dave's POV
I entered the home. There is a main building with Mother Susan's office and few more rooms for administration purpose.
A sister from the office came towards me accompanied by the nurses from my hospital. That sister introduced her as Sr. Noeline.
She took me inside the building. The main building has rooms for guests on the back side too. Followed by a beautiful garden, there is another building for the disabled and sick children.
Left side is the building for old aged people before that was a big tree spreading out its branches. Under which, there are few benches in which some old couples are taking rest and chatting.
Right side there is a play park with recreational equipments like the seesaw, merry-go-round, swingset, slide, jungle gym, chin-up bars, sandbox, spring rider, trapeze rings, playhouses, and mazes.
Next to the park is present a beautiful chapel. I loved this atmosphere. I stood there admiring the place. But the silence of that place is being disturbed by the children playing around.
I hate children. They are such a nuisance. A hell of disturbance.
I'm given a special room to stay at the back side of the main building facing the garden. The nurses Ms. Lucy and Ms. Andrea is given the room next to mine.
When I'm about to enter my room, I saw a small little girl of about two years running unsteadily over the corridor of the opposite building.
Suddenly someone else caught my eyes attention.
