#45 AN UNEXPECTED HAPPINESS

Third person's POV

Being with the one they loved unconditionally, Dave and Angel felt abode on earth. A month has passed in a swift after they have transformed from lovers to husband and wife relationship.

Since Harry suggested that he and Tina would take the responsibility of their hospital in South Africa, Dave planned to settle his family in Chennai itself. Not only for Harry's wish, there were other reasons for him to take that decision.

He didn't want Angel to stay at home and be a normal homemaker. He wanted her to go out and get successful in her career. He always respected her courage and he desired the society also to respect her strong heart.

For that to happen, staying in Chennai would be helpful. He wished her to walk with stretched head in the same place where she was once cowering due to the dishonouring words. Dave wanted to redeem the real Angel who was lost due to other's sins.

On one auspicious day, Dave and Angel legally adopted Ria as their child. Dave's parents were also got attached to Ria seeing her cute acts. The same way, Ria too was attracted towards them and parting her away from them has become very tough even for Angel.

Angel wondered everyday thinking how her life has changed like she once wished it to be. A happy home. A husband who expects nothing from her but instead loves her more than anyone else in the whole world.

In laws who was taking care of her as one in their home and family. A cute daughter whose single snuggle makes her forget all her pain. What else she need? According to her, she was the luckiest girl in the world.

But for something good to happen, you have to go through the path of thorns. Once you endure the pricking of the thorns in your feet, you'll reach your destined happy spot.

There Angel's foot got pricked by another thorn in her path. One day, Dave's aunt has come to visit them. Unfortunately only Angel and Ria were the ones left alone at home. Some people have poisonous tongue like snakes and Dave's aunt was no way lesser than a snake.

" How should I call you? Angel or Lisa? "

The color of her lipstick didn't match her age. Angel noticed that when she twitched her lips after shooting an unwanted question to her.

" You can call me as you wish aunty."

" OK. Whatever.. Aww!! I didn't know why Dave have done such a drama in Harry's marriage to announce your wedding. Silly boy. I even suggested him to marry my girl but he liked only you."

Angel remained silent since she didn't want to explain anything to her. But his aunt never shut her mouth.

" Its been more than a month right? Is there any special news? "

Angel understood what she was up to. Special news? She couldn't tell her a good news. In fact she was unable to produce the good news she was expecting.

Ria was and would be her only God given child. Her uterus was removed and she couldn't bear a child of her own.

" Aunty.. No.. I mean.. Ria.."

"Ria? The girl you brought from South Africa? She's not your own child. See.. I'm not narrow minded to be against adoption. But still.. You should think of your own child.."

" Ria is my own child aunty. She's my cute little Angel gifted by God to me. I don't want anyone to interfere in our matter. Hope you won't mistake me."

It was Dave who blasted out as he happened to hear his aunt while he was entering the home. Angel let a sigh in relief. Dave's aunt darted out of the home as he insulted her.
