#39 MAGICAL MOMENTS

Third person's POV

Dave was relocated from the ICU to the patient ward. When he was shifted there, the police were already waiting to get his statement.

" Dr. Davison.. Can you please tell me everything that happened on that day? Who was the reason behind that?"

Before answering the officer, Dave scanned everyone standing in front of him. Angel nervously standing at a corner of the room whereas his parents were anxiously waiting for his reply.

" It was just an accident Sir. "

" Are you sure about it? Don't be scared of anyone. "

The police officer assured him. But Dave denied.

" I'm sure Sir. I was immersed in some thoughts and accidentally fell down without noticing the slope. "

Dave's mom unable to accept that came near him and held his hand.

" Dave.. Don't lie for this girl.. Tell the truth. "

" Mom.. No.."

He tried to explain but his mom never gave space for him.

" I know Dave. We heard that you both had a quarrel before you went missing. She must have done something to you. Don't hide anything. "

Angel was shocked hearing Dave's mom blaming her.

" Mom.. I'm not lying.. I accept that we fought on that day but misunderstanding and quarrel are not a matter between lovers. Don't you know that mom? "

She stared at Angel and went out of the room in fury.

The officer finished the formalities and left. Only Angel and Dave's dad remained in the room.

" Dad.. I need to talk to you. "

He sat near him.

" What's up Dave?"

Dave turned to Angel. Knowing why he looked at her, she waited outside the room leaving them alone.

" Dave.. I know that you lied to the police. Whom do you wanna save?"

" Dad please.. First.. I wanna tell you everything about Angel. "

" Is it that important? "

" Yes dad. "

Dave said firmly. So his dad gestured him to continue. Dave narrated where he met Angel and how he fell in love with her. And then he disclosed the truth about her past.

While hearing her past, Dave's dad's keenly listening face became grim faced and without a word, he rushed out of the room. Seeing him strolling out with a stern face, Angel entered the room.

" What happened Dave? Why was he so tensed? "

Dave didn't want to let her know that he left angrily after hearing his son loving such a girl.

" Nothing to worry Angel. "

She stopped questioning again even though she was uncomfortable with his answer.

Angel stayed with him throughout the day and night taking care of him. Next day, Dave woke up sensing someone touching him.

" Angel.. "

" Good morning.. "

Angel smiled at him refreshingly.

" Good morning.. "

Dave struggled to get up.

" Wait I'll help you. "

She slumped towards him and held his shoulders to make him sit. Because of his weight, she held him stronger. Her face was closer to him and her hot breathe over his neck immediately stimulated his hormones.
