#7 I'LL CHANGE FOR YOU

Angel's POV

When I slapped Jeso, I caught a shadow near the window. It was Dave. He might be there to amend yesterday's behavior of his.

Whatever I said to the kid Jeso, that's also for a grown up adult Dave. Maybe he would have felt guilty, so he eloped from the spot without talking to me.

Third person's POV

Next few days went without uttering a single word between Angel and Dave except anything official. Angel dissociated herself from Dave.

Dave wanted to seek her forgiveness but he was not ready to do it because since his childhood he never appealed anyone's forgiveness.

Dave and the nurses were doing the nutrition tests for the children and was giving treatment for their malnutrition. Angel helped them with the children.

Later Angel went to the old age home to read the Bible for them. Then she took a old man for walking. That old man used a stick to hold himself steady and Angel hold his other hand.

Angel was always so close to that old man. He was in his mid seventies with a light bald head and a normal weight. He used to like Angel as his own daughter.

While Angel was helping him to walk, a Sister called her urgently for a work. So she left that old man and went to finish the work. He was walking alone in the garden.

Angel's POV

After finishing the work, I was coming down the stairs from the third floor. Suddenly I saw uncle fainted and fell on the ground.

I shouted from here, " Rajeev uncle..."

I looked around and saw Dave standing on the corridor.

" Doctor.. Doctor... Rajeev uncle fainted.. Help him."

I shouted at him but he didn't move a bit. He stood there watching me and uncle. I ran down as fast as I could and reached him. I took uncle's head and placed it on my laps.

I patted his cheeks to wake him up but he didn't open his eyes. I shouted again for help. Dave was still standing there watching us.

Let me handle him later. First I have to take care of Rajeev uncle.

Hearing my voice, Lucy and Andrea ran towards us and we carried uncle to the diagnostic room.

Then Dave slowly put his apron and gloves on his hands, then he went to treat uncle.

Is he a human? If anything happens to Rajeev uncle, I'll not remain silent. I'll tear him to pieces. I hate him.. Hate him to the core.

After sometime, that devil came out of the room.

" Nothing to worry. He fainted because of low pressure. I have infused him glucose drips. He will be alright soon."

He said me with a cool look. But he cannot make me cool.

" Thank you for not letting him die. Let me tell you. You're truly unfit to be a Doctor. Seeing Rajeev uncle fainting, you were standing like a statue. How could a person be so cold hearted?"

I was turning into a thousand wala cracker.

" I thought of helping him. But he looked so dirty. So I didn't feel like helping that poor old man. " he said showing a disgusting look.

" Shut up.. Do you know who he is? " I shrugged.

He gestured a no.

" Have you heard about Kulkarni group of companies all around the world?" I asked him .
