Next day, Angel, Dave along with Lucy and Andrea made the arrangements for celebrating the older people's day. While decorating the hall, Dave and Angel were exchanging friendly smiles.
Angel gathered everyone inside the hall. The celebration began happily. Sister Neoline welcomed the gathering and she also thanked Dave for arranging such an occasion.
Dave invited the eldest person in the group to cut the cake. The eldest one was a South African lady Mrs. Dipalesa in her late eighties was brought in the wheelchair and she cut the cake.
Dave fed the cake to her and in return she fed the cake to him and she kissed his cheek.
Angel witnessed the happiness glowing in Mrs. Dipalesa's eyes and she didn't fail to note Dave's eyes becoming moist when she kissed him.
Angel's POV
Sister Blessy requested Dave to say few words since he was the reason behind this joyous happening. Dave first hesitated and then stood before the gathering since he couldn't deny her.
He clenched his palms together and cleared his throat.
" Good evening to Sister Neoline and other Sisters here and the heroes and heroines of this evening. " he chuckled.

Ah!! He looks damn cute when he laughs.
" I'm without words now since I haven't prepared anything before hand. So... er.. Let me share something from my heart. "
I'm eager enough to hear what he's going to say from his heart. According to me, he doesn't have a heart.
" I'm not sure till now whether its right to celebrate the older people's day. Because I don't know whether you all have become old. The smile on your face is more attractive than the wrinkles in your face which clearly states that only your body is becoming old but not your heart. Am I right?"
I heard people saying right and few were nodding their head in acceptance.
" Getting old is not unexpected. But still why do people talk of the horrors of getting old? Those who find growing old terrible are people who haven't done what they want to do in their life. I have read this somewhere. Are you still worried of getting old?"
A multiple " no" echoed the hall.
" Yes. You should not be worried about it. You all have done your best in your life. Are you worried about your future anymore? "
Again there was a 'no'.
" May I know the reason? " He pointed to an old man out there.
" Because we have nothing and no one for us. So there is no reason that makes us to worry about the future. " he answered with his shaky voice.
