Dave walked away without uttering a single word to Angel after hearing her past. Angel was stunned by his reaction and fell to her knees and let out a loud cry which was heard by Dave. But still he didn't turn to her, leaving her cry from her heart.
Until the eyes became dry, she was on her knees crying. Then she wiped her tears and rose up to leave. The bouquet and the gift brought by Dave caught her eye. She grabbed that and went to her room.
Angel banged the door after her and glowered at the beauteous flowers neatly arranged in the bouquet. Her fingers fondled the petals of the flowers. The flowers once looked beautiful would wither away later. She compared her life to those flowers.
She held the gift in her hand and sat on the bed. She wanted to open it and see what he has bought for her. Her fingers were too fast in uncovering it.
Angel opened the gift which was covered by pink glittering sheet with small hearts embedded throughout and a red ribbon tied around it with a bow. Her pupils bulged out and she was astonished glaring at the unexpected gift.
It was a alluring red coloured photo frame with a heart on one corner over which it was written 'Love u Angel'. Her photographs were collaged and framed within that.

She looked pretty in all those photos. She was unaware when and where he captured her in his camera. She remembered once he told her that his passion was photography. She couldn't stop admiring herself in the photos.
Angel was exhilarated because of his lovely gift. But on the other side, she remembered his facial expressions after hearing her past.
She concluded that the chapter of Dave in her life was over by now. Like a gentle breeze which gives a chillness when it is caressing our face, his love gave her a happiness for a momentary period of time.
Angel thought that as her mistake to trust someone even after experiencing the pain because of trusting someone previously. She believed that Dave loved her truly and he wouldn't leave her.
But he was also a normal man and she understood that clearly. She didn't feel bad for his behavior. She wished him to lead a happy life with a perfect girl unlike her. But still, somewhere deep within her heart, she felt a pain which was unsurpassable.
Angel's POV
Next day, I locked myself within my room. I didn't want to face Dave. I would feel bad if he avoids me. Ria was with the Sister and I didn't even get out of my room to take her.
My room door was often knocked by many telling me to open it. But I told them to not disturb me and to leave me alone. Every time someone knocked, I expected it to be him but not even once, it was Dave.
Next day too the knocking continued but I didn't open it. Then I heard Sister Neoline's voice calling me.
'' Angel.. Open the door.. I don't know what happened to you and why you're locking yourself in. But at least open the door for Ria. Have you forgotten?? Today is Ria's birthday. ''
