"Mommy! Mommy!" Small hand held your shoulders as you were shaken awake in the morning. Groaning, you sat up and rubbed your eyes, fixing them on the small figure next to your legs. "Mommy it's sunny outside!"

"Yeah Chiaki, it is." You say tiredly as you let out a yawn. Chiaki climbed closer to your stomach and laid his back on your thighs, looking up at you. "Then can we go to the park today?"

Blinking at the young boy, you looked back towards your window and noticed how to sun was out and shining, not a single sign of bad weather. Looking back at your son, you pushed his hair back and tickled his stomach letting small giggles fill the room.

"Mommy~ Stop it~" He laughed as you chuckled with him. "Alright, let's get ready and eat breakfast then we can go to the park."

His eyes sparkled and he nodded with a smile before he jumped out of bed and ran to wake his brother up. Chiaki walked to the bathroom to brush his teeth while you were making some breakfast along with some sandwiches as lunch.

"Are you both ready?" You asked as you finished tieing Chiaki's small sneakers. "Yes mommy~" The small boys replied.

"Do you have the sandwiches Chiaki?" You asked, opening the door. He suggested on carrying the sandwiches because he said he was a 'big boy'. You chuckled at him and let him hold it. "Alright then, let's go to the park."

-

"Mommy?" Chiaki's small voice called out to you.

"Yes Chiaki, I'm still here." You replied as you smiled and waved at the young child. He smiled and waved back as he went back to making his sand castle.

You were at a bench alone a few feet away from the two young boys. For amazing weather, there were not a lot of people at the park. There were a couple high schoolers and elders feeding pigeons, otherwise it was just you, Chiaki and Izuki.

You checked the time on your phone and noticed that it had already been almost two hours since the three of you had arrived at the park. Looking back up, you see Chiaki run up to you, something small in his hand.

Chiaki ran up to you and handed you a small daisy. "Here you go mommy." Your heart melted as you smiled and kissed his forehead. "Awe, thank you sweetheart. Did you and Izuki eat your sandwiches?"

Chiaki nodded and ran back to his older brother Izuki who nodded at the statement. As the five minutes passed you noticed that Chiaki's head was bobbing back and forth, you knew it was time to go home.

"It's time to go boys! Clean up and let's go." Standing up from the bench, you grabbed your bag and walked over to the boys, dusting the sand off of their clothes. "Come on, let's go."

You held Chiaki's hand while Izuki walked next to you, carrying his small backpack. Chiaki's eyes would slowly close then shoot open when he would realize that he was falling asleep. His head continuously bobbed back and forth as you watched the small child try to stay awake.

"Here, let me carry you." Chiaki walked into your arms as you picked him up and held him. He fell asleep in your arms. Walking a few steps forward, you looked over at Izuki who was starting to slow down, his eyes slowly closing.

"Izuki, don't fall asleep now. We're almost home okay?" Izuki nodded but he was also starting to fall asleep. He rubbed his eyes multiple times in a minute and he would stumble on is feet from his sleepiness.

As you and Izuki walked back home, you noticed that you didn't get far with the two sleeping boys. You shook Izuki's hand gently to try to wake him up and it would work for about 30 seconds before he would slowly start to fall asleep again.

"Excuse me miss but can I help you?" Turning around, you find a tall man with multi-colored hair standing in front of you with a charming smile on his face. "You seem to be struggling a little." He said with a small chuckle.

You smiled tightly at him. "Thank you for the generous offer, but I can't hand my child over to a stranger that I've just met." You noded at him and turned back to continue to walk towards your house.

"I insist," Stopping in your tracks, you turned your head to face him. "Associate Special Class, Sasaki Haise." No words came out of your mouth as you studied him. His soft grey eyes to his really sweet smile. Maybe he wasn't a bad person.

Walking toward the man, you handed him Izuki. Haise nodded and picked Izuki up in his arms, following next to you.

"Your name is (L/N) (F/N), right?" He asked as he looked over at you. You nodded at him and gave him a questioning look. "Sorry, I don't mean to be creepy. I see you around the CCG a couple times, I never knew you had kids." You said with a soft smile.

"If you don't mind me asking, where is your husband?"

"I'm no longer married, I'm a single mother."

"Oh, I'm sorry for asking."

You turned to look at Haise and gave him a smile that made his heart jump. "It's okay, it's not your fault." Haise couldn't help but admire you. Whenever he'd see you at the office, he'd always notice at how beautiful you were. The most beautiful person he'd ever seen and when he saw you with kids, he was a bit upset that you were already with somebody.

As Haise walked with you towards the small apartment, small talk was exchanged between the two of you. Haise would throw out puns now and then and make you laugh while he talked and comforted you. He was really sweet.

"Well, we're here Haise." You state as you took your key out to open the apartment door. You stepped inside and walked over to their bedroom to place the boys down. "Thank you so much for your help Sasaki-san."

"It's nothing. I'm glad I could help, I enjoyed talking to you. You're quite lovely." You blushed at his words and let out a small chuckle. "Thank you, you're quite the charmer yourself."

His smile grew, "If you don't mind, I'd love to take you out for some coffee."

"I'd like that. Let me give you my number." As the two of you walked into the kitchen to exchange numbers, Chiaki and Izuki woke up due to their mother talking sweetly to a man. They stood at their bedroom door listening closely.

"Izuki, what is mommy and that man talking about?" chiaki asked as he tugged on his brother's shirt. Izuki looked down at his brother and smiled.

"They're going on a date."

"What's a date?" Chiaki asked innocently.

"A date is what people go on when they like each other." Izuki replied ruffling his brother's hair.

Chiaki smiled and looked at his brother, eyes filled with sparkles. "So, is he going to be our new dad then Since they like each other?"

Pursing his lips in thought, Izuki nodded at the younger boy. "I guess you can say that." Smiling, the two boys peeked through the small opening and watched as their mother wave the man goodbye.
