Chapter 35

I had trouble writing, no motivation and writer's block. I wanted to sit down and write chapters but I had trouble starting. I know you guys are looking forward to these chapters and I apologize for updating so late.

"Sasaki-san, you can't do this alone." Shirazu stated as they followed Haise around the apartment as he was getting ready to go out to find you. They were extremely worried for their superior, they didn't want him to get caught in anything worse. "Just stay here in the Quinx apartment and everything will be fine." Haise responded as he grabbed his jacket.

"Maman, we can come help you!" Saiko exclaimed as Haise turned around and smiled sadly at her. "Thanks Saiko, but this is something I have to do alone. (F/N)-chan needs me." She looked up at him with worried eyes as he walked toward the doors. "Don't worry, I'll be back."

Haise quickly escaped the apartment as he ran out with all the hope he had of finding you. No clues and no idea of where you might be, but nothing could stop him from trying to find the one he loves. "Shirazu, Maman will be fine right?" Saiko asked as she looked up at her brother figure who tried his best to make her feel reassured. "Sasan will be fine Saiko. Just like he said, he'll be back."

Feeling your sleepiness wear off, you pulled yourself up from the ground and looked around at the unfamiliar area you were in. It seemed that you were in a basement of some sort. Trying to stand, you fell back down as you looked back to see yourself held back with a rope that was tied to your ankles.

Looking around, you tried to find a way to free yourself from the annoying ropes around your ankles. Loud thuds coming down the stairs froze you in your spot as you stared at the locked door. The door swinging open, you looked up at the man who stood there with a smirk. "Oh, you're awake now." He walked closer to you and held your chin up with his hand as he blew some air into your face. "Why don't you entertain me later?"

Clenching your teeth, you harshly pulled your face away from him as he chuckled at you. "What's wrong little flower? Can't wait 'till later? I suppose now would be a good time as well." He pushed you back onto the floor hovering over you as you let out cries of discontent. His lips brushed along your collarbone and neck as you tried pushing him away with all the power you had.

"Stop harassing her Deguchi and let's go." Another man stated from the door as Deguchi chuckled and got off of you. "I'll see you later flower." You sent him a glare as he walked away with the other man, locking the door on his way out. Your lips turned into a quivering frown as you ducked your head in-between your legs and cried.

As the minutes passed, it was extremely quiet so you assumed you were the only one left in the house. You looked around for a way out and in the corner of your eye, you caught something shiny on the floor. A pocket knife!

'Stupid Deguchi must have dropped it while he was harassing me!'You thought as you reached over to grab it, quickly trying to cut the rope from your ankles. After a few minutes you were able to free your ankles, but the ropes around your wrists were another challenge. You didn't know how many minutes passed but you couldn't seem to cut the ropes.

Hearing commotion upstairs, you hid the pocket knife in your pants and hid your ankles as you pretended to act still restricted. "Huh? Deguchi captured another lady? Jeez, he can never get enough of women can he." A man stated as he walked around the basement looking at all the tools and weapons in the corner of the room. Thankfully enough while he left, he didn't close the door.

After he left, you stood up and quietly ran up the stairs and looked around for the front door. Luckily for you, there was nobody guarding the door as you ran over and quietly opened it to escape. Just as you thought you were off the hook, you ran into a group of men outside. "Hey! Come back here!"

Running as fast as your feet took you, you tried out running the men that chased you. "Help! Help me!" You screamed for anybody as you ran down the road to find anybody for help. Unfortunately, you realized you were in a secluded area and quickly you found yourself being grabbed from the back as you were held down by the men. "Think again next time you try escaping."

"Have you seen this lady?" Holding up a picture of you towards the ghoul who was injured, they shook their head and pleaded for their life. "N-never seen her before!" Scrunching his eyes, Kaneki threw him back on the floor and turned around to find another ghoul. It had been hours and Kaneki still has had no lead on you.

"W-Wait!" The ghoul cried as Kaneki turned around to look at the ghoul. "What do you want now?"

"I'm not positive, but that could be the girl Deguchi took.." He replied as Kaneki's eyes widened. Walking over to the man, he grabbed him by his collar and pulled him close to his face. "Who is Deguchi, and where can I find him."

"D-Deguchi is a ghoul from the 1st ward, but is often seen around the 20th ward with his group. Time to time he takes women as his prisoner, I don't know what he does with them for sure but it ranges from murder all the way to sexual pleasure." The ghoul gulped as he saw Kaneki's face expression change. With a click of the tongue, Kaneki threw him back on the floor as he adjusted his mask.

"Thanks." With that, Kaneki took off in search of Deguchi and you. If anyone had set their hands on you, they wouldn't be alive to see the rest of it.
