Bang-

His head spun around to the direction of the sound. His mocha orbs widened as he saw the familiar figure laid sprawled across the floor, almost unconscious and was bleeding to death.

"Izaya?"

He quietly questioned himself. He tried to walk but his feet were glued to the spacious but dark ground, stilling and binding his movements to no end.

He growled in protest. His wish was to become the man's saviour despite their previous relationship as sworn-nemesis.

He had promised to become his guardian angel no matter what.

Even if he never said any agreement aloud.

He knew he'd have to take responsibilities of the man.

"Ah, Informant-san,"

A gruff voice was heard, piqueing the blond's interest. The blond couldn't see the figure speaking with the darkness dwelling around them, so he tried hard to squint his eyes in the dark, eager to see the person from beyond his limited vision.

"Not so smart now, are you?"

A kick landed on the figure's stomach, making Shizuo's anger rise instantly. Yet, his feet stayed still on the ground, unmoved.

Damn whoever did this to Izaya!

He heard the lithe informant coughed before receiving another blow to his head.

"Heh. You were so confident a minute ago but once you're binded, you're no different from a weakling!"

Dark spurts of blood raced out of the informant's throat as he coughed tragically. Izaya looked too weak to Shizuo's liking. Maybe going a bit further to actually feel pity for the informant as the desire to save him became greater than anything else.

And that's when he woke up from the dream;

Or was it a nightmare or a telepathy from Izaya's memory loss?

He didn't know, but he needed to tell the blind raven about it tomorrow when he actually got to see him.

---

"What?"

Shizuo frowned, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion as the nurse scream internally, scared to see the blond showing up in a hospital.

It wasn't like Shizuo had never been there before, but there wasn't much times where he actually asked questions, and that scared most of the workers here whenever he did so.

"He still hadn't woke up since morning? Isn't that rather awful and unhealthy?"

The blond repeated his questions, glancing at the nearby clock hung on the wall behind the counter. The clock showed 1.15pm, exactly the time where Shizuo had intended to see his flea. Also, he remembered seeing the informant slept at around 7.30pm before he left, so he couldn't be asleep for that long of a time.

So since it's his lunch-break, he figured he would come here with a box of ootoro and other sushis for the informant.

To be honest, Shizuo didn't know if he should be disgusted or happy with his own actions and affections shown to the currently blind Izaya.

"W-Well, it is. But we supposed he's just too tired from yesterday," The nurse stuttered frightfully in reply. Her trembling hands clutched her paperwork as a forced smile was plastered against her beautiful face. "E-Even the doctor didn't say a thing about it. So, there's nothing we can do, Heiwajima-s-san,"

His frown deepened. Did something happen to that louse? Why isn't he awake yet? As far as he knew, Izaya is normally an early person...

Something seemed off; thought the blond. He needed to know what's bothering the man.

The dream itself didn't help him one bit.
And that's when something in his mind clicked;

"Did he tell you anything last night?"

The nurse stayed silent for a while, her face wore a thoughtful look before shaking her head, "No, why?"

A few moments were needed before Shizuo recollected himself and spoke;
"I'm going to his room,"

It's veryyyy short, I'm sorry ;v; I'll try to do moar after this but thanks again for your support~!
Wonder what happens to Izaya eh? :3
