Rattles.
Izaya spun around, but only darkness greeted him once again. Though he knew, he was no longer in the reality, but currently in his own dream-
A dream of memories resurfacing.
His head throbbed painfully as light started to seep from a nearby door. With both hands clutching his own head tightly, he shuddered and crouched behind the sofa. The surrounding felt too familiar that he couldn't have mistaken it as-
"Tadaima,"
The high-pitched voice reached his ears instantly as a clicking sound was heard followed suit. The lights were switched on and slowly his eyes took in the surroundings he recognized very much.
The black leather couch he's using as a hiding spot, the cupboards filled with all sorts of documents, the grey table that held so many responsibilities to the owners throughout its' years of presence, and the computers lined on it used in seeking information from just about anywhere in this world-
This is my apartment.
Footsteps were heard approaching the couch before a weight slumped onto it. Izaya stood immediately but obviously the figure couldn't see him there. He wasn't surprised to see a reflection of himself laid in front of him, eyes filled with sorrow and hatred towards something he didn't know; though the usual smirk remained visible on that pale features.
On the table were all types of alcoholic drinks and drugs; gin, vodka, marijuana, ethambutol, ecstasy pills, morphine, amphetamine; the list just went on and on and the raven frowned. He didn't remember having that much drugs laid in front of him in his entire life; sure he had tasted them all separately, but this-
Was it really what had happened?
The figure in front of him popped open the bottle of gin before gulping it down, half bottle in one go. Izaya's frown worsened, did he really do that? He disliked the taste of alcoholic drinks, and the way they reek, but gulping down half in one go was just so not like Izaya Orihara-
And before his thoughts went further, he noticed the way his reflection smirked. The sorrowful look worsened as he stared at a picture on the table; also a familiar face to Izaya. Suddenly the man slurred-
"Do you see this, Shizu-chan? You wanted me to vanish from the Earth that bad, don't you? Well, guess what-"
He swallowed some of the drugs before leaving a cut on his arm; small but enough to leave a trail of blood seeping out-
"I'm making your wish and prayers come true,"

The blond man waited outside of the wardroom. His partner had currently being transferred to a new wardroom for better observations; whatever the rooms' name was called, he didn't care. All he did care was the flea's being.
His mind still reeling for answers; yes, he was mad on the attempts Izaya had recently pulled out, yet at the same time he was far too gone in his emotions towards the raven that he started to worried sick. This guy was already weak, fragile and to top it all of- blinded.
He was worried beyond words that he accidentally left a hole in the wall.
Grunting, Shizuo walked out of the hospital to smoke. He needed to relax. He just needed to believe that everything would be fine for that guy, and that the nurses and doctors were doing their work properly this time.
Like that's ever gonna work.
Shizuo knew better than to trust them, perhaps he should take a few days leave just to watch over the sick raven; he needed help anyway. And the goddamn workers won't keep an eye on him 24/7, so why not he do it-
