"Shit, Izaya! Pull yourself together—"

"Izaya, stay strong—"

"Izaya—"

"Iza—"

The beeping sound echoed through the room.

---

Everything was blurred and beyond comprehension as his entire figure fell numb.

Izaya Orihara was a man full of pride.

Being beaten out was nothing to him as he had always managed to mask every ounce of pain with the usual smirk; his trained facade.

But his emotions concealed and locked away far within his heart was a weakness. The barrier he had built throughout the years was something he had been proud of;

And yet, this disgusting, heartless, shameful human was tearing it down bit by bit.

Annoying.

How annoying.

What else could this human asks from his God? Sure, the God played with him a little, but that was it. He took the blame for him but used him in return; wouldn't that make a good oath for the man?

Ah, Izaya Orihara really love humans.

Nakura was no exclusion.

He never hated the man. He loved all humans equally because he believed every humans deserved their God's love.

Except for that monster.

Shizuo Heiwajima; a quiet hero on a quiet island.

How irony did the name sound; it made Izaya Orihara cackled till he felt nauseas and yet

The monster wasn't supposed to be loved. He needed to be locked away along with the other monsters. He was in no position to gain the Lord's love, let alone experience human's definition of love.

He was fated with hatred.

An emotion so deep it neutralizes any kind of affection as the monster went on a rampage, destroying the city God had given him.

Izaya Orihara was intrigued to observe, to test and to kill this monster of his. Perhaps it was his beloved playtoy, but he could never deny the deep sense of abhorrence he harbored towards the monster.

Izaya wanted him to suffer;

To disappear;

To vanish;

Dead.

He wanted him dead.

He wouldn't want him to mingle with his humans anymore. They were far better off without the monster around. Life would be better and humans would appreciate him even more.

He would make sure no one got hurt because of this monster of his. He would keep him away and far from his treasured humans.

Further away from this world and straight into complete isolation where no one else could touch him, could reach him let alone loving him.

Shizuo Heiwajima was made solely to hate Izaya Orihara.

If Shizuo Heiwajima was to kill him, it would fairly be an ode; where he would ecstatically sing the heroic poem on the day of Izaya's death. Izaya neverminded this vision and thoughts.

As long as Shizuo was his, there was nothing else he could've asked for.

Even if Shizuo hated him for the rest of his life;

He would make him his.

His to hate.

His to despise.

His to play with.

And his to love.

Ah, it's so twisted he could barely had a hang of it.

Yet,

Orihara Izaya was a man full of pride.

And his pride was Shizuo Heiwajima.

If Shizuo sees him in a weakened state,

His pride was shattered.

And by then he would be dead.

Nakura did nothing close to his death.

But Izaya Orihara had already flung to his own death.

When Shizuo opened the door to greet him with confused eyes.

I STRUGGLED FOR DAYS TO GET THIS PUBLISHED DAMN IT WATTPAD WHAT ARE YA DOING TO ME ;;;

Sorry people, but this is Izaya's POV for his past. I figured the plot might be confusing to some as it is to me so this is sort of a clearance for everyone as well :D
