Two chapters in a day~! Wattpad is kind enough to let me post this thing in a day ;w; hence enjoy!

Izaya's eyes popped open as fresh air filled his lungs all at once.

The bright lights from the ceiling was piercing through his eyes as they narrowed in an attempt to focus. Everything was blurred and hazy to his mind. His entire body ached, his limbs and legs numbed while wires poked out into various parts of his body.

Was he...in reality again?

Slowly his eyes adjusted to the scenery. White walls adorned his visions, tagging along with it was the smell of medicine and surgical items floating through thin air.

It was a hospital.

The hospital.

He was able to see again.

It was no longer dark.

And he was no longer clueless of his surroundings.

He knew this was reality.

Not a dream because—

"Doctor, his heartbeat came back!"

A nurse shouted in anticipation. A man in white coat quickly got to him and did his work but he was too tired to keep his eyes open.

He drifted off

Towards a peaceful slumber.

Izaya Orihara was finally at peace.

---

"Damn it!"

Izaya smirked inwardly as soon as the curse reached his ears. He knew his plan had worked well when a spot of brunette came to his visions. A loud thud followed suit as another hand reached to peel Izaya off the floor.

"Mikage-chan, thank you~" He purred, his broken voice still masked with the normal arrogant tone. Mikage didn't help him walk however, just untying him silently before getting out of the place.

Izaya wobbled himself out, in question of Mikage's silence without any retorts. Yet he only rambled on it for a few moments, deciding to finally stop upon the cold shoulders he's received.

When they arrived in the raven's apartments, Izaya quickly made a brief scan on it. Papers were scattered everywhere, his laptops and computer broken while the bullets cracked through his wall still visible. It was awful Izaya wondered what the hell happened with his secretary since she seemed to just left the apartment being untouched.

But then again, Namie might've been drugged with money by Nakura so being the bitch she was, she left the apartment all to Izaya. He sighed, now he had a ton of things to do.

But something nagged his mind in which he had to see that blond; that monster.

He won't want to see him now. It'd only make him more confused than ever and Izaya would be so ashamed as to reveal himself being beaten up into a pulp by his own underlings.

He needed a strong plan, something that'd further torture the protozoan's brain into sheer confusion and misunderstandings; something that he won't be able to decipher in a quick change of memory—

Something that Izaya might not have the chance to explain in a short span of time.

It could work.

No, this could work.

He didn't mind if Shizuo sees him in a disheveled and distorted state caused by his own actions and not others. Hell, his pride would be shattered with that confession but if that was what he needed to do to redeem himself since the past years;

Then he would thank Nakura for reliving those unwanted feelings again by torturing him deeper into his hell hole.

Yes, Izaya would do that.

Instantly his energy regained as he paid a random person to clean the whole mess for him seeing as how Mikage had obviously left him without his acknowledgement.

For a few days he stayed composed and acted like nothing happened.

Sorry tht it's short, I just don't want things to get further mixed up ;w;
But things are unfolding so I hope it's good enough for you!
