Chapter 9
I kept scrolling down until I stopped at a picture of him holding a guitar with the caption; Music=life.
Damn right it is.
I looked at the amount of likes and comments before gasping loudly. How can someone like him get five thousand likes and three hundred comments for a picture on Instagram that he had posted three days ago?
I wanted to go through all the comments, but the before last comment immediately caught my eye. A girl by the username, AmazeGyal commented '@CarterUnderwood I can't wait to see you and hang out with you like we always do, I miss you sooooo much babe XoXo!'
What the hell?
I quickly looked at the last comment to see if Carter had replied to her, but he didn't.
Hah! "Take that weird chick, how you like me now?!"
"Stop moving, I'm straightening your hair for you and you call me weird chick in return?"
"Oh sorry and no, not you." I said, grinning before tapping the screen of my phone multiple times, "It's just this gi-"
I froze.
Just then, I realized what I've just done as I quickly dropped the phone on my lap, "Stella, if you tap on a picture on Instagram more than one tim-"
"That means you've just liked the picture," She finishes while straightening the last part of my curly hair.
"No, no, no, nooooo," I yelled dramatically as I threw my hand up in the air. I quickly started to panic.
"But you can still unlike it."
With that, I quickly took my phone, but not before my phone beeped twice, signaling that I have a new notification. I clicked on the new notification as I read it out loud, "CarterUnderwood started following you."
Fuck my life.
Stella snickered amusingly, "You were stalking him?"
I opened my mouth to protest, but no words came out, so I sighed irritatingly in return. Stella just laughed, "Come on stalker, let's finish the Stella-super-duper-amazing-make-up-masterpiece."
I stared wide-eyed and mouth agape at my own reflection in the mirror as I gasped suprisingly, "This is not me."
"You look flawless." Stella said in a british accent.
"Thank you." I replied whilst admiring her great work. I didn't know what she did to my face because I don't study make-up. But all I know is that she applied a complete circle eyeliner around my eyes as my eyelashes were standing out amazingly, scarlet lips and a slight shade of red eyeshadow right above my eyes that complimented my hair and my dress. The dress was red, tight by the hip and loose at the bottom. The way the sequenced fabric flows was beautiful as it reached right above my knees. My hair just hung loose over my shoulder.
Maybe I'm a little too obsessed with red.
What if I blush?
Tomatow...
"Jerk." I muttered under my breath.
"What?"
"Nothing nothing." I said immediately whilst bending over to put on my white stilettos, "Are you sure you don't wanna go?"
