Chapter 12
"Brenda!" Nathan called out as he was running towards me. I was currently standing in the school parking lot as I waited for him to approach me. He put his hands on his knees as if he was catching for breath before walking up to me, "Damn, you leave me breathless."
Even though I didn't feel like smiling since the whole Carter incident, I still managed to spread a smile on my face at his comment. "Yes?"
He placed both of his hands around my waist before pulling me closer to him. I felt his warm breath fanning all over my face as he looked me in the eyes. He leaned in closer before kissing me passionately.
I get butterflies in my stomach every time he did that.
"Can I drive you home today?"
"Gladly." I beamed, grinning like crazy.
Nathan parked his mini blue truck right in front my house. He quickly ran to the other side of the car and opened the door for me.
I got out of the car and rolled my eyes "You know you don't have to do that."
"I'm your boyfriend."
I let out a dramatic giggle as I fumbled with the keys to unlock the door. I heard him mumbled something about 'things guys do to get the V' but I chose to ignore him. I glanced at Carter's house and saw no car or motorcycle parked outside.
Suddenly, an idea popped inside my head. The need to show him felt so right at the moment. I asked him a question I never thought would ever come out of my mouth. "Do you want to come in? I need to show you something."
He smirked, "Sure."
I led him the way to my room and closed the door behind us when we both got inside. I smiled at him, "Welcome to my room."
He raised his eyebrows and looked around as if he was observing everything. I didn't mind at all because my room was rather clean.
It was a small, four meters by four meters, cozy room with pink walls and a bunch of posters on them. Posters of my idols and people that in spired me. My bed was on the right corner of the room and next to it was my nightstand. On the other side was my small wooden desk with different sheets scattered all over it. And my cute closet was just right next to the door of my room.
There's a window right above my bed which I hate it so much during the day because it always let unwanted light inside my room when I'm trying to get a long peaceful sleep on weekends.
No, I don't have curtains. But I do cover it up with something.
On the other hand I always look outside the window when it's night. Not at my backyard, because there's nothing interesting about it, but at the dark night sky instead.
"Cool room."
"Thank you."
He raised his eyebrows, "Is this what you wanted to show me?"
I shook my head and smiled, "Not exactly."
"You do know we are currently in your room alone with no one else at home and I think it would be a great idea if you begin to strip in front of me already. Isn't that what you're going to do anyways? Change in front of me?"
"Uhm what?" It took me about two minutes to process everything and understand what he was implying. "Oh....oh! No no no no. No Nathan."
He sighed and looked disappointed for a split second before quickly covering it up with a smile, "Then what is it?"
