Chapter 14
It was dark. Really dark. And it was also raining heavily. I quickly closed the windows of the kitchen.
The pages of the calendar on the wall brutally started to flip up and down. The clock next to the calendar started to shake as the clock hands moved rapidly against the clockwise direction.
My ears began to bleed. My hands were shaking of fear and all I could think about was the clock on the wall.
The very odd thing was that only the clock and the calendar was shaking and nothing else. Everything was in right place, but those two objects kept acting like they were on fire. That went on for like hours, I don't know how much exact because the clock won't show the right time. But everything suddenly stopped moving when I heard a sound.
But it wasn't just a sound. It was music. The music was coming from outside. Or was it from next door? I don't know anymore, but my ears stopped bleeding.
It stopped raining and the sky became clear again. The sun rose and the clouds were high up in the sky and everything was so peaceful again like nothing had happened. The music went on and on and it sounded so good to my ears.
I closed my eyes and opened them again. But this time I was lying on my bed. I was lying in my warm and cozy bed as the sun was shining on my face right through the window. I shut my eyes again because I didn't feel like lifting a single muscle from my bed. I knew I had a nightmare, so I didn't feel like coming back to my senses and think about it.
My back suddenly started to vibrate. And the feeling was so good that I thought I was getting a massage until I knew I was hearing things.
Music.
Wait, it's not just any music.
I jumped off my bed as my hands were searching through the blankets for my cellphone. I was sleeping on my cellphone the entire time as it was ringing which explains the vibration.
When I found my phone I quickly answered it, already knowing who would be calling early in the morning on a fucking Sunday.
"Ge-gello?" I answered with my sleepy voice as I sat down on my bed, my eyes only half open.
"Still sleeping? I'm going to pick you up in thirty minutes! Hurry because today is Sunday!" Stella yelled through the phone.
Huh Sunday?
"What about Sunday?" I asked, still hadn't fully regained my composure yet as I rubbed my eyes repeatedly.
"The Jurassic Kids Bobsz playground event thingy with my little brother. Remember?!"
The..
Oh.. oh!
I totally forgot about that. I really need to get a freaking planner thing to write down all my plans.
Even though I really didn't feel like going, but since I promised her and to mollify her at that moment I said okay and that I'll be ready in thirty minutes.
Surprisingly I was already done after twenty minutes. I stepped out of my house and began to stretch because I was feeling kind of stiff.
I glanced at the Underwood's, but stumbled back of shock when I saw Carter was watching me. He was currently shirtless with his arms crossed as he was only wearing some sort of boyish black pants.
