Chapter Five: The Bloody Dungeon

PART 2

---

The brown-eyed boy definitely looked a year or two older than me, but I knew he had probably lived years and years. Coming off that note, I could tell you that the boy did not look happy.

My eyes must've gone from hard to soft the more he stared me down. He didn't say anything, but I did watch him bring his hand to my throat, squeeze tight and bring me up against the wall, just like Ralph the boy at the inn did.

The whip fell out of my hold as he strangled me.

My hands had stopped feeling like they were on fire and I decided to use them to claw at his hands, getting instant deja vu. "You are a beauty aren't you? But who do you think you are telling me to stop!" The vampire had his veins popping out as his eyes went full-on black and fangs shot out.

His eyes travelled down my body, checking me out before he inhaled and closed his eyes for a moment.

I'm guessing he likes the smell of me. Great.

Over the shoulder of brown eyes, I saw the blue-eyed boy knocking the mother and son out before making his way over behind the brown-eyed sicko.

If I had my abilities right now I would have knocked these fools out already and did he say beauty? Hell! I am barely beyond average.

"I- I don't think you should do that." I strained out, struggling to breathe and find air.

The charming blue-eyed boy crossed his arms and lifted his brow, "and why shouldn't he do that exactly?"

I feel like a victorious smirk is needed after I reveal that my name is Natalya Ascelyn.

"Because he'll kill you." I smugly smirked when I felt brown eyes' grip around my neck loosen and saw blue eyes narrow his eyes into slits.

Brown eyes threw his head back and psychotically laughed before immediately cutting himself off with a mocking grin, "I doubt anyone can kill me pretty little human, but out of curiosity who would dare kill me?"

He looked impressed more than angry, impressed that I wasn't shaking with fright or begging for him not to kill me. I was a challenge in his eyes. And most likely dead meat...

I chortled and looked at both pairs of brown and blue eyes.

Blue eyes was not as impressed as his partner was. In fact, blue eyes seriously reminded me of someone close up like this?

"Well, my brother is Alaric Ascelyn and if you cross him you are basically crossing the prince too. And if I was you I would definitely not want to get on the prince's bad si-"

My rant is suddenly cut short by a soft voice, "Natalya?"

Brown eyes turns around to stare at blue eyes in shock and then glances back at me before smirking. "Don't tell me this is your sister?"

"Don't tell me you're my brother? I've just been saying how good-look- nevermind- Oh, my- ewwwww," I completely ignored the fact that blue eyes was potentially my brother and focused on the fact that I had checked him out instead.

Ewwwww, mental incest!

"What is your brother's favourite colour?" Blue eyes sped up right in front of me, lifted my chin and tilted his head questioningly awaiting my reply.

That was an easy question, "my brother's favourite colour is black."

"And what's his middle name?" He challenged.
