Twenty-Three: Hide And Seek (SUMMER SPECIAL)

PART 2

---

"Close your eyes and open your mouth..." Chris ordered and I arched my eyebrow shaking my head.

"How am I supposed to trust you, you are dangerously close to me?" Crossing my arms, I slightly scooted away from him.

Chris rolled his eyes and sighed, "relax, it's not like I'm going to put my dick in your mouth in a crowded ballroom."

I pursed my lips smiling, "what dick?"

Abruptly all of Zac and Xander's friends Douglas, Terrence, Xavier, Aaron and Dario laughed at my humorous and intended insult.

"Ohhhhhh dude, she questioned your manhood..." Xavier yodelled and even from the corner of my eye I could see my ladies dying of laughter.

Our table was by far the loudest in the ballroom that even the noise of everyone and everything else around us couldn't fade us out.

Chris hung his head low, using his tongue to push his chin out in an indication of offence even though he wasn't really bothered about my insult.

In fact, he looked amused and impressed as he smirked up at me, holding something that he was going to put in my mouth in his balled up fist.

"Suit yourself then, Natalya," Chris said before throwing whatever food he had planned to feed me in his own mouth.

I bit my bottom lip and sheepishly smiled. Oops, didn't mean for it to sound harsh. NOT.

Whilst Chris scolded his friends for laughing at him, I decided to look over at the head table, where I then saw Cassandra Pierce chatting up Zac.

She was practically sitting on his lap, brushing her hand through his hair and teasing Zac with her fingers.

Looking at them interacting was kind of annoying and reminded me that I had to find a way to impress Zac before the end of the night.

My stalker could be anyone in this ballroom, too bad there are thousands of people that I have no chance of finding out who that stalker psycho is.

I didn't realise I was staring at Zac and Cassandra for so long that by the time I looked up, Xander had tapped my shoulder at least three times and cleared his throat at least twice.

"What are you six even doing with Natalya? I hope you haven't done anything questionable..." Xander asked after he caught my attention and thankfully didn't see me staring at his brother.

He would have probably thought I was staring at Cassandra enviously.

Not that I was or anything.

Oh, who am I kidding.

Cassandra was a walking goddess.

"Xander you should put more trust in us," Terrence responded to Xander after sipping his glass of blood with a mischievous look.

Xander circled the table and picked up Terrence's glass before sniffing it to see if anything that wasn't supposed to be in there was.

"Okay it's not hers which is good but seriously guys, I hope you aren't up to no good without me.." Xander smugly smiled.

I shook my head in disbelief and laughed out after having a drink of water, "unbelievable," I muttered.

"Alaric wanted us to be her guides whilst he and Derek do their important guard duties, man, you know she is safe when I'm here," Douglas decided to reply to Xander with an egotistical thumb point to himself.
