IMPRESS.
Chapter Forty-Nine: The Wine Cellar.
---
I felt quite good about myself after the makeover I had been given by the ones and only, Rose Clarke, Cassandra Pierce and Princess Cathryn.
Cassandra brushed my hair and flawlessly curled every strand, finishing it up by faultlessly pinning pieces of it up and leaving the rest to fall behind my back.
Rose had focused on my makeup, she'd shaped my eyebrows and applied dark brown liner to my eyes, sweeping a golden sand colour to my lids and finishing my eyes with light mascara. She'd applied powder to my face, masking any signs of sleep deprivation from my face.
To finish off my face, she'd swept the faintest bronze blush across my head and cheeks and had lightly contoured to sculpt my face the tiniest bit. Completing my look with dark red lipstick.
I had never put this much makeup on before, so it was a massive transformation for me, especially when Cathryn selected the most beautiful, black and red and raunchiest corset dress I had ever seen.
Now we were standing in a place I just always seemed to end up in, even after the broken promise I had made my brother on the first day of my arrival here, the bloody dungeons!
"Do you know what I hate most in this world..." Cathryn finished filing her fingers nails and put the heel of her shoe to Fredrick's throat. "Rapists."
I flinched at the sight of Fredrick choking and throwing up blood when Cathryn applied pressure.
Cathryn carelessly removed her heel out of his throat and laughed out, "what a wanker... right girls?"
I was a little busy being shocked by Fredrick's damaged appearance to be giggling along with Cathryn, Cassandra and Rose. They seemed to be enjoying what they called mini revenge more than I was.
"He deserves it," Cassandra remorselessly stated, "he shouldn't have raped Natalya... Now it's her turn to have some fun."
Fredrick was already a mess like Alaric had said earlier. He was not healing at vampire speed, in fact, the process was delaying.
I had seen the aftermath of Zac's fists and harmful ability. He had left bruises and scars left, right and centre of Fredrick's body and had scarred his mind somehow, leaving Fredrick to have nightmares whenever he shut his eyes.
However, the aftermath he'd left was nothing compared to what Preston had done to him.
Preston had practically baked and burnt half of Fredrick's face with his scary shadow magic, he'd torn, fried his skin, leaving some of it repulsively hanging from his face.
