RECAP:

What you need to know is that the real Lord Hilbert still needs to be found and does Daya El Rigo who has some relation to Natalya and her dead mother Isabella. Omar is Zactalya's spy on Queen Melisandre's cunning plans and anything going on in the castle that they aren't informed about.

Natalya is close to finding out who kept sending her notes and what happened the night her parents were killed with help from both opposite ends Preston and Zac.

The witches are either bad or good, the vampires are either bad or good and the demons are admittedly bad but see, good? Natalya is torn on who to believe but she loves Preston and has a complicated relationship with Zac and the witches so is confused on who to support.

And finally, the war is coming but so is the darkness that lives inside of a powerful Natalya. The King of Asten, Zac's father Creon is in search of the Nixonited-stake whilst Zac the Prince of Asten is in search of Natalya since he can finally admit he is truly in love with her.

On top of it all, Natalya has a list of names (from part 1 chapter 3) and she keeps coming across these people that treated her like dirt back in Icilia. So far Fredrick, Lord McClaren and Jamie Hayes have been eliminated but Anastasia, Aunt Roslin, the unknown killer, Ella and a few others remain to be confronted and dealt with... So good thing dark Natalya is almost here.

Recap done.

Natalya's POV~

"Did my mother say something to unease you? You seem to be in deep thought," Preston snapped me out of my daze by pressing his hand to my cheek and cocking my head up.

When my worried eyes met his, and a smile of concern cracked out across Preston's face, "the other girls, why did you have to kill them?" I asked without a sign of hesitation, as I knew there was no point lying to Preston's face when he'd see right through me.

Preston groaned under his breath, masking his frustration by pulling his bottom lip between his teeth thoughtfully, "how many times do I have to remind you that I'm a bad person? I've done much worse than killing my exes, ask me about that."

I let out a long-winded sigh that seemed to panic Preston a little, "remember I'd never hurt you, you are different baby," he dominantly pressed his lips against mine, leaving his mark and stroking my chin.

I involuntarily blushed and felt my skin tingly from my head to toes, "why did you have to kill them?"

"I don't really know how to emphasise it to you that I am a very dangerous person to cross, the girls either bored me or annoyed and since they knew too much about me behind closed doors, I had to do something to make sure a rumour wouldn't ignite," Preston squeezed my hand reassuringly.
