Chapter 8: Left With Only Aphmau

Aphmau dialed Aaron's phone number. "Hello? Aaron?" Aphmau called. "Yes?" Aaron answered. Aphmau blushed and twirled her hair. "Kawaii~Chan, Katelyn, and I are going on dates and I thought it would be nice if you came..." Aaron chuckled. "I will." Aphmau giggled. "Okay...see you at 6." She hung up and held her phone over her heart. Katelyn stood at the top of the stairs. "The amount of times he called you and you called him, you're still  gushing over him." Aphmau jumped. "K-K-KATELYN! DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!" Katelyn folded her arms and smiled. "You're right, like actually HANGING UP THE PHONE." Aphmau smirked. "I meant kissing Travis." Katelyn blushed and Aphmau laughed. Katelyn stormed off to her room and stayed in there until the date.

Aphmau knocked on her door when it was time to go. "Katelyn! We're about to leave!" Katelyn opened the door slowly and looked down. She had a sparkly sky-blue dress on. "Katelyn, you look beautiful." Aphmau chirped. "Let's just go." Katelyn said, walking down the stairs. Aphmau saw her trip on her high heel. A bit later, everyone was outside. "Lookin' fiiiine, Katelyn." Travis flirted. Katelyn punched his arm. "Stop it." Meanwhile, Vlyad talked with Kawaii~Chan. "Soo, Kawaii~Chan, don't hate me for this, but..." Vlyad drifted off. Kawaii~Chan beckoned him to continue. "I invited Michi and Reese to the date so you can get Reese back." Kawaii~Chan grinned. "Michi~Chan is Kawaii~Chan's friend, and Kawaii~Chan wouldn't steal her friend's man." Vlyad shrugged, and continued in another conversation.

Across the yard, Aphmau and Aaron were commenting on each other. "You look beautiful, Aphmau." Aaron said. Aphmau had on a purple dress with a satin bow across her waist. Aphmau held her hands. "You actually...are wearing a tuxedo." Aaron really was. "Well...I wanted to look decent for the date." Aphmau giggled. "You're cute." Aaron held Aphmau. "Not as cute as you." He kissed her. About 5 minutes later of talking, Katelyn noticed Aaron and Aphmau. "EW, AND WE WERE ABOUT TO GO OUT AND EAT." Aaron and Aphmau stopped, facing away from each other. "Let's go." Aphmau said, leading the group to Olive Garden. They sat down and ordered something to drink. "I would like a water, and what would you like, Aaron?" Aphmau asked. Aaron looked at Aphmau like she was crazy.

"I'm my own man, and I can order for myself." Aaron stated. He faced the waiter. "I'll have a water as well." Aphmau rolled her eyes and smiled. Vlyad looked at his phone and read his text message. "Hey Kawaii~Chan, Michi and Reese aren't coming." Kawaii~Chan smiled oddly. "Um...is there something wrong?" Vlyad asked. Kawaii~Chan kissed Vlyad's cheek. "So Kawaii~Chan and Vlyad~Senpai can leave now." She snatched Vlyad's hand and dragged him out of the restaurant. "Wait, SENPAI?!" Vlyad yelled as he and Kawaii~Chan left. Katelyn, Travis, Aaron, and Aphmau stayed at the table. Katelyn was upset, and Travis put his arm around her. "What's wrong, Katelyn?" he asked.

Katelyn rolled her eyes. "My feet hurt in these stupid shoes." Travis looked at her high heels, then examined her outfit. "Why did you dress nice for this occasion?" Katelyn's eyes broke open and her face turned red. Aphmau giggled and Aaron drank his water to refrain from laughing, knowing from the last time he laughed at Katelyn.

"Stay here, Aaron, I'll be right back." Aphmau said as she left. It was only Aaron and Katelyn sitting in the living room. Katelyn hated awkward silence, so she tried to make small talk. "So, how are you and Aphmau going?" Aaron shrugged. "Fine." Katelyn tried a different approach. "What do you like about her?" Aaron sat still. "Everything." Katelyn couldn't hold it in and raged. "WHY ARE YOU SO DIFFICULT?" Aaron looked at Katelyn. "Like you and Travis? Eventually you'll come around to him. He seems to come around to the point that your butt is in his visual view." Aaron snickered. Katelyn punched his right eye, forcing him to keep on his scarf over his eyes. Aphmau came back, noticing Katelyn crossing her arms and Aaron looking dazed. "Well I got everything, let's go to the park!" She grabbed Aaron's hand and led him out the house. "Why are you wearing that mask again?"
