Chapter 28: Aphmau's Birthday

Aphmau was partly awakened by something cold on her nose. "Aaron, stop it.... we'll do this later." she muttered quietly. Coldness reached her neck. "You just won't stop, will you? Cut it out....." Then the coldness went around her left thigh. "Aaron! Not now!" she shouted, sitting up. She looked down and saw Gold licking her feet. "There's no way that I believed Aaron was you." she sassed. "Um... happy birthday?" Aaron said. Aphmau turned around and saw Katelyn, Aaron, and Kawaii~Chan holding a cake. "Well.... Aphmau. I didn't know you would think that was Aaron licking you." Kawaii~Chan handed the purple-frosted cake to Aphmau. "Kawaii~Chan wishes Aphmau~Senpai a happy birthday!" she squealed. Aphmau looked over at Aaron. "Kawaii~Chan wants Aphmau~Senpai and Aaron~Kun in a picture together!" Aphmau shook her head and so did Aaron. "Please?" Kawaii~Chan begged.  Aaron sat next to Aphmau on her bed. "Come on, scoot closer!" Kawaii~Chan ordered. Aphmau smiled. "I won't bite..... unless you want me to." Aaron joked. "That's it! I'm gonna go puke!" Katelyn yelled as she stomped to the bathroom.

A bright flash came from Kawaii~Chan's phone. "Okay Kawaii~Chan. So Aaron, where are we going?" Aphmau asked. "We're actually-" "We're going swimming!" Kawaii~Chan squealed. Aphmau clapped. "Yay! Okay Kawaii~Chan, go out. I'm going to change." Kawaii~Chan tilted her head. "With Aaron~Kun in here?" Aphmau looked at Aaron. "Yes. He can look, but he can't touch." Kawaii~Chan walked out and shut the door. Aphmau stood up and grabbed a new lavender one-piece. She walked into the bathroom and shut the door. Aaron looked at his phone until he heard Aphmau call his name. "Aaron! I need a bit of... help." Aphmau said nervously. Aaron creaked open the door and saw Aphmau struggling to tie the strings at the top of her bathing suit. "What do you want me to do?" he asked. "Oh, I want you to burn this bathing suit off and feed it to Celestia- OF COURSE I WANT YOU TO TIE IT AARON!" Aaron walked behind her and grabbed the strings. He pulled them softly and Aphmau rolled her eyes. "It's going to fall off if you don't pull it tighter and harder." Aaron pulled the strings a bit tighter. "Harder, Aaron! You pull like a kitten!"

Vlyad stood at her door with a shocked look on his face. His hand was mid-air to knocking, and he turned around. "Harder!" Aphmau shouted. Aaron finally tied the bathing suit together. "I'm done." he stated. Aphmau took a deep breath. "Irene, Aaron! Not choking me!" "Aphmau, you said to pull it tight, and I did. You can loosen it." Aaron noted. Aphmau looked at herself in the mirror and turned to Aaron. She put her hands on his chest, and he wrapped his arms around her waist. "I love you." she said. She kissed him. "Where's your swim trunks?" Aphmau asked. "I'm wearing them under my pants, like anyone would do. It's under my clothes." Aphmau looked at his hair. "I don't think we're ever going to get this white streak out." she laughed.

Aphmau kicked her feet in the pool as Aaron stood in front of her. "Why won't you go in?" he asked. "It's not fine until you come in it." Aphmau blushed. "Stop it.... Where's my cake?" She got up and Aaron climbed out of the pool. Everyone was partying, dancing to music, and talking. Aphmau stood at the table and grabbed a slice of one of the biggest cakes Kawaii~Chan has ever made. After she ate it, she got back at the edge of the pool.  "Where's Aaron? I could have sworn he was- AH!" Aaron pulled her into the pool with him. "AARON!" she screamed. He laughed. "I'm sorry." A lot of people were in the pool already. Aphmau held Aaron's face. "Take a deep breath." "What-" Aphmau pulled the both of them underwater and kissed him. They quickly came back up and smiled with dripping wet hair. A loud microphone came on. "Is this-is this on? Okay... Hi guys, I'm Lucinda. Are you enjoying the party?" A loud cheer came from the crowd. "Okay! So on the count of three, we're going to say 'Happy Birthday Aphmau' as loud as we can, okay? One...two...three! HAPPY BIRTHDAY APHMAU!" The crowd shouted and screamed. "Thank you...." Aphmau muttered shyly. When Lucinda flipped a switch, the pool lit up with bright lights that made it shine a vibrant blue under the night sky.

"Hey Aphmau! If you want to know, Aaron planned this out just for you!" Lucinda screamed over the mike. "Make sure you thank him!" Aphmau held his face. "I'll thank him later!" she responded. Oohs and jokes came from the crowd. They kissed again. Vlyad accidently bumped into Aphmau's back and she turned around. "Yoooo, Aphmau! Um... so earlier today...." "Yes Vlyad?" Vlyad tapped his chin. "Um, so I heard some things going on in your room and um.... never mind. Great party!" He quickly swam away and Aaron looked at her. "What was that about?" he asked. Aphmau turned back to him and held onto him. "Nothing."

Everyone left, but Aaron and Aphmau were still in the pool. "Yeah, and I tripped and fell later." Aaron said. "Aw, you must feel terrible. Does it still hurt?" Aphmau asked. "It was when I was seven, Aphmau. My leg doesn't hurt as much. Especially now that you're here, anything makes me feel better." Aphmau blushed and moved her hair out of her face. "I'm cold." she stated. Aaron got out of the pool and heard a small whimper from Aphmau. "Will you carry me?" Aaron stepped back into the pool, holding Aphmau. He wrapped her in a towel and carried her inside. "I'm going to go shower. You can go in after me." Aphmau said. Half an hour later, she was dressed in her pajamas and Aaron was in his normal clothes. He sat down on the couch and Aphmau stood behind him. "Come upstairs, Aaron." He stood up. "Why?" Aphmau held his hand. "Did you already forget?" Aaron nodded. "Are we going to..... go to Forever 21 again?" They laughed. Aphmau held his hand as they ran upstairs, still laughing. She shut her door and pushed Aaron against the wall, kissing him.

She wrapped her legs around him and he held her up. Aaron turned around and put Aphmau's back to the wall. Aphmau put her legs down and pushed Aaron onto her bed and sat on his stomach. "You're just adorable." she said. She turned and Aaron kissed her neck. He kept kissing her and slid off a sleeve of her pajama shirt. Aphmau held his back and slowly pushed off his sweater. Aaron sat up and walked to the door, pulling his sweater up. "Where are you going?" "I think I need to leave." Aaron responded. Aphmau got up and held his hand. "Please stay a little longer." Aaron held her hands. "I'm sorry Aphmau." Aphmau turned him around and kissed him. "Maybe I could stay...." Aaron pushed Aphmau back to her bed.

He kissed her. Aphmau took off his sweater and he flipped her over. Aphmau bent down and kissed him. Aaron held her back and separated for a bit. "Aaron... I love you." Aphmau whispered.
