Chapter 17: Going Home

It was early in the morning, and everyone was awakened by Emily's crying. Aphmau woke Aaron up and they both attended to the baby. "I still don't know what's wrong with her." Aphmau yawned. Aaron picked up Emily and glanced at Emanuel, still asleep in Aphmau's bed. Kawaii~Chan woke up and stretched. "Kawaii~Chan was going to make Emanuel~Chan and Emily~Chan strawberry waffles!" she squealed. Aaron shrugged and panicked a bit. "What do I do? I-I don't understand why she's crying." Aphmau gently took Emily away from Aaron and patted her back. "You just have to know some ways." Aphmau sang and Aaron watched in silence. She handed Emily back to Aaron after she fell back asleep. He held her, with a confused look on his face. "Wha...." his voice trailed off when Aphmau kissed his cheek. "Pack your bags, we're leaving in an hour." she stated. Aphmau walked into the bathroom and shut the door, and Kawaii~Chan was already gone out shopping for strawberries, leaving Aaron and the babies.

Aaron stood there, holding Emily. She eventually woke up, and looked at him. She laughed, and Aaron smiled. "You're cute." he laughed. Emanuel sat up in Aphmau's bed and yawned. His blond hair was still in a perfect swivel, and his pajamas were clean. Aaron smiled and Emanuel gawked at him. Then he cried. Aaron panicked for both Emily and Emanuel were crying. Aphmau came out of the bathroom and saw the crying babies. "Aaron! Why are they both crying?" Aphmau shrieked. He shrugged. Aphmau rolled her eyes and picked up both babies and sang. Emanuel babbled and Emily smiled at the soft, soothing song.

"I don't understand." Aaron said. Aphmau sat on his bed. "Well hon, you will understand. You're soft enough and caring enough-" Aphmau was cut off by Aaron's disturbing silence. "Aaron?" Aphmau asked. He sat with her and hugged her. Then he tickled her. "Called me soft?" he laughed. Aphmau was crying with laughter as she and the babies were tickled by Aaron. Aphmau snorted and pushed him off the bed. She fell with him, and Emily held onto her back. "Emily!" Aphmau giggled. Emily drooled and clapped. "Aph..APH!" Emily yelled. Aaron and Aphmau clapped and cheered with Emily. Emanuel remained on the bed, hanging off the side. Aaron finally got up and got dressed. After twenty minutes of packing, it was time to go.

"Wha-what?" Aphmau gasped. "I am really sorry miss, but all couples with children cannot sit up here." The flight attendant scrunched up her nose. "Especially with infants." Aphmau gawked at the attendant, who had a smirk on her face. "You'll be going that way, into that room." Aphmau was pushed a little by Kawaii~Chan on her phone, walking down into the lanes. "Kawaii~Chan's seat should be right here." she said as she drifted farther away. Aphmau sighed as she slowly slumped to 'The Mother's Room'. Shortly, Aaron popped up in the airplane door, holding Kawaii~Chan's, Aphmau's, and his luggage. The flight attendant noticed him and smiled. "Wait miss," she yelped. Aphmau turned around. "Maybe I could change my mind..." the attendant blushed as Aaron winked at her. Aphmau ran up to Aaron and kissed his cheek, then she pulled his ear. "Don't you ever wink at a girl AGAIN." Aphmau ordered.

Aaron blankly stared at Aphmau as they both sat in their original seats next to Kawaii~Chan. She was face-chatting Vlyad, as usual. Aphmau giggled, and Aaron noticed. "What's so funny?" he asked. Aphmau sat up the two babies in her lap. "We're the annoying parents with the crying babies!" she laughed. Aaron chuckled at the thought. He put on his headphones and listened to music for half of the ride home, until crying started to happen. He obviously didn't hear it, but Aphmau yanked on his sweater. Aaron set his headphones on his neck and asked, "May I help you?" Aphmau nodded towards the screaming babies. Aaron panicked. "Um...I um..." he muttered as Aphmau was constantly yelling at him. He was worried, and his heart beated. "Aaron! Do something!" Aphmau screeched. He politely took a pair of earbuds out of his pocket and hooked them to his phone. He put an earbud in one of each of the babies' ears and they watched educational shows. Aphmau wiped a drop of sweat and Aaron took a deep breath. "You are a great father." Aphmau stated. Aaron panicked again.
