Three months later, Aphmau peacefully woke up in her bed. The sun was shining, and birds were tweeting. "This is an odd morning... it's quiet." She mumbled. She walked into her bathroom to wash her face. She opened the mirror cabinet and stopped. She picked up a box of pregnancy tests. "Ew... why are these even IN here?" she asked. Outside her bedroom door, Lucinda and Katelyn pressed their faces against the door. "You couldn't just ask her?" Katelyn whispered. "If she ever denied it, I have proof. Why would she drop off her kids here and spend the night at Aaron's last month? By the way, you can't just walk up to her and ask." Lucinda stood up and flipped her hair. "She won't be like 'Me and Aaron-" Aphmau opened the door, but Lucinda kept talking. "Decided to have a little party here and there and everywhere. It's just rude, Katelyn. Now-" Aphmau gawked at Lucinda. Lucinda moved her hair out of her face and asked, "So... is it a positive or negative?" Aphmau's face turned beet red. "I'M POSITIVE THAT I'M GONNA KILL AARON, AND YOU LATER!" Aphmau yelled as she stormed past Lucinda, pushing her to the side.
Aphmau put on a thin sweater and trudged out with her bunny slippers getting covered in dirt and mud. She marched up to Aaron's hose and kicked down the door. He was sitting on the couch with the babies and turned around. "Mommy's home." he whispered. He walked over to Aphmau and looked at the broken door. "Did someone... not get enough sleep-" Aphmau slapped him so hard, it woke up everyone on Mystreet. He fell down to the ground, and Aphmau kicked him. "WHY, AARON?" Aphmau shouted. He stood up, and rubbed his cheek. "Why... what?" Everyone had gathered outside Aaron's house, including Lizzie and her gang. "What did he do?" Ross asked. "I don't know, but it sound like he messed up for real this time." Lizzie answered. Lucinda and Katelyn watched from Aphmau's window as the crowd shouted. "I WANT ANSWERS NOW." Aphmau screamed. She pulled Aaron's ear and yanked him upstairs. She locked the door and pinned Aaron to the wall. "What... did I do?" he asked. Aphmau had a moment of clearance and slammed Aaron to the floor. "YOU STAY THERE." Aphmau marched out the house and the crowd split to let her through. She found Lucinda in her room and yanked her out by her hair.
Aphmau dragged Lucinda through the wet grass on the rainy day. She was dragged upstairs to Aaron's room and threw her to the wall next to him. "WHO'S GONNA TALK FIRST?!" Aphmau screeched. "Okay, Aphmau, hun... this is a misunderstanding." Lucinda started. She picked a leaf out of her hair. "You see, I put the pregnancy tests in there and... Katelyn was, y'know, asking the unreachable questions and... well...." Aphmau was twitching. "NO ONE TOLD YOU TO STOP TALKING!" Aphmau shouted. "Well... um... ahem... you see... she asked, GAH! She asked why we couldn't just ask you if you and Aaron... since you two were alone and-" "Really?" Aaron asked. "DON'T INTERRUPT ME, NOT NOW. I said it was rude and if the test said positive, we would've known. I was just telling her what you wouldn't say since that was kind of a private question." Aphmau relaxed and looked down. She pointed to the door. "Out." Lucinda dusted herself off and walked out.
Aphmau slammed the door shut and it scared Lucinda. "Aaron's still screwed." she muttered. Aphmau sat in front of Aaron and looked down. "I'm sorry. For hurting you. And your door." Aaron laughed. "Don't worry about it." Aphmau sat next to him and leaned her head on his shoulder. "I am sooo sorry." "You don't have to apologize, Aphmau." Aphmau looked at Aaron's tomato-red cheek. "I'm just really sor-" Aaron kissed Aphmau. "That was a nice way to tell me to-" "Shut up." Aaron playfully laughed. Aphmau and Aaron stood up and kissed. Aaron tripped over a sweater and they fell apart from each other with a large crash. Outside the room, Lucinda pressed her ear to the door and backed up with a shocked look. "Well they're definitely happy now." she whispered. She finally left outside and shouted, "THERE IS NO MORE TROUBLE BETWEEN THE TWO!" Some stranger in the crowd asked, "PROVE IT!" At that time, a louder crash came from Aaron's house. Aaron had fell down the stairs tripping over a lipstick bottle that fell out of Lucinda's pocket. "Okay... I believe you." the stranger said.
Everyone left, and Aphmau and Aaron were in the living room with the babies. Aaron held an ice pack to his cheek and one to his knee, which was bandaged. Emily hopped up to Aphmau and asked, "What wrong wit Dada?" "Dada just got boo boos... everywhere." Aphmau replied. Emanuel popped up behind her. "Mama has to say sowry." Aphmau looked at him, dumbfounded. "Mama hurt Dada, so Mama has to say sowry to Dada." Aphmau started to smile. "Sooooow-ryyyyy." Emanuel stretched. Aaron and Aphmau laughed. "I'm... sowry Aaron." she giggled. Emily crawled up to Aaron's cheek and kissed it. "Mama kiss our boo boos when they hurt." she babbled. Aphmau laughed and held the two babies. She hugged them tight. "You are just the best babies I've ever seen!" she gushed. Aaron stared at Aphmau and the kids, the most beautiful picture he could ever see. He immediately snapped a picture with his phone without them noticing and carried on staring at them.
