Chapter 18: For Aaron

Aphmau awoken to quiet giggling in her bedroom. She sat up in her bed and saw Katelyn and Lucinda snapping photos of her. "What's so fun-" Aphmau looked beside her and saw Aaron, who was asleep. "OH MY IRENE!" Aphmau shrieked. Aaron woke up and saw Aphmau. They again fell out of bed and freaked. "What? Where am I? Aphmau?" Aaron asked. He realized his sweater was gone. "Where did my sweater go?" Aphmau held her cheeks as Lucinda and Katelyn died of laughter. "This is going on YouCube!" Katelyn shouted. Aphmau looked at Aaron's cheek. "I WAS NOT-" Aaron had already wiped off the sparkly pink lip gloss and panicked. "Aphmau, you don't wear-" "She did for this occasion." Lucinda smirked. Aphmau stood up. "YOU did this, Lucinda!" Lucinda flipped her hair and put a hand on her hip. "It totally was...but you holding onto Aaron was all you, hon." Aphmau's eyes broke open. "WHAT?!" she yelled. Katelyn showed her a picture of Aphmau holding onto Aaron's neck as she slept. "And.....post!" Katelyn snorted. Aaron and Aphmau stared at Katelyn in disbelief. "You did not just-" "She did." Lucinda interrupted Aaron. "Aaaaaaaand, this 'wake up' video is going on the internet."

"Why, exactly?" Aphmau sighed. Lucinda laughed. "This is healthy for your...relationship. You two don't talk about it much, and it's time you share it to the world." Aaron found his sweater and put it on. "Why share it?" Aaron asked. Lucinda walked over to him, squatted to his level, and held his face. "Because- wait, are you IGNORANT?! Hon, you walk around with no shirt and have one the cutest personalities I've ever known. You're kind, helpful, strong, flirtatious, and not to mention hot. HUNDREDS of girls must've been attracted to you." Everyone stared at Lucinda, including Aaron. "It looks like Lucinda got out some true feelings about Aaron." Katelyn giggled. Lucinda narrowed her eyes at Katelyn. "I'm sorry, but isn't it obvious? I know you think he's hot too. You are one of the hundreds of girls who would be okay to hang around him. I mean, he's got it going, but Aphmau..." Aphmau held her heart. "YOU JUST....get out of my room." Lucinda shrugged and left with Katelyn. Less than a minute later, she peeked in holding the babies.

"Forget your priorities?" Lucinda chirped. Emily screamed, "Mama!" Aphmau blushed and took the babies from her. "I still want to know how these babies got here." Lucinda acknowledged. Aaron sat on Aphmau's bed and beckoned her to tell. Aphmau took a deep breath. "Lucinda, sweetie...isn't this a talk you should've had with your parents?" Lucinda smiled. "You are a parent. So tell me." Aphmau sighed at the thought of sitting through Lucinda's constant jokes. "Well m and Aaron were in the hotel and decided to-" "Kiss each other a lot? I know that hon." Lucinda interjected. "AND decided to go out. We found-" "Love? Right where we are...." Lucinda sang. Aphmau set down the children with Aaron. "THE BABIES IN AN ALLEY. WE FOUND THEM IN AN ALLEY." Aphmau blurted. Lucinda twirled her hair and thought. "I believe you." she muttered. She sashayed onto the balcony and stopped. "I bet you'll use the same cover-up next time, or to be exact, next thirty times." Lucinda snickered.  

Aaron got up and chased after her. He ran into the wall and fell. "Are you okay?" Aphmau asked. Aaron sat up. "I'm fine. It's just that I can't see out of my eye." His eye was less swollen, but still purple from yesterday. Aphmau pulled him up and held his arm. "We're going to your house." she stated. "Kawaii~Chan! Can you watch Emily and Emanuel for me?" Kawaii~Chan sped out of her room. "Kawaii~Chan can!" she squeaked. Aphmau and Aaron walked to Aaron's house, and they sat on the couch. "You need another ice pack." Aphmau implied. She walked over to the refrigerator and pulled out a pack. She then sat down by Aaron and held the ice pack to his eye. "Do you need anything else before I leave?" Aphmau asked. Aaron shook his head and Aphmau huffed. "Is there...something wrong?" Aaron asked. Aphmau folded her arms and spilled. "I wanted to take care of you because of all the things you've done for me, Aaron." Aaron thought in silence and came up with an idea.

"Um...ow." he muttered. Aphmau stared at him. "Don't play games! You're just doing this to make me feel better!" she shouted. Aaron rolled up his sleeve and showed Aphmau his cut. "It was from Katelyn, earlier." he sighed. Aphmau freaked. "Why didn't you tell me about this?" She got a towel and wrapped it around Aaron's arm. He smiled, and Aphmau blushed. "Wait...you DON'T feel this?" she asked. Aphmau repetitively poked his arm and held it. She finally gave up and scooted away from Aaron. After four quiet minutes, Aphmau spoke up. "You're just too hard to take care of if nothing bothers you." Aaron wrapped his arm around Aphmau. "You bother me everyday." he smirked. Aphmau looked at him as if he were insane. "How do I  bother you? You asked me to be your girlfriend, remember?"  Aaron kissed Aphmau. "You bother me by showing up in my mind when it's empty, and make me worry about you every day and every night. You are one of the very few things I want to lose." Aphmau hugged Aaron and held on tight. "I love you, Aaron." Aaron laughed. "I love you too, my little potato." Aphmau yelled playfully, "HEY! THAT'S NOT FUNNY! ENOUGH OF YOUR JOKES!" Aaron chuckled. "I have loads of them, wanna test me? *cough* Small size of French fries." Aphmau zipped up his sweater and pulled  his hood, choking him.
