Chapter 21: The Couple's Game

Early in the morning, Gold played around Aphmau's heels as Celestia rested by the front door. Aaron was making breakfast for Aphmau. She was staring at him the entire time. "Aphmau, do I have to put on my sweater again?" Aaron asked playfully. "No, you don't. There's no difference anyways." Aphmau responded. He finished cooking and placed a plate of pancakes on the table. Aphmau rushed to the table and sat down. He set down a syrup bottle in front of her and said, "Don't go too crazy, but..." Aaron also placed a can of sprinkles next to her. "I. HAVE. THE. BESTBOYFRIENDEVER!" Aphmau squealed. Aaron laughed, and tended to the babies. "Dada. Can I have baba?" Emily squeaked. Aaron gave her a bejeweled cup, obviously decorated by Kawaii~Chan. She waddled away, and fell twice. Emanuel was drawing pictures and singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. "How I wonder what chu are.... MAMA! EMMY... EMMY... WAAAAAAH!" Emanuel cried. Emily had accidently spilled her milk on Emanuel's coloring book. Aphmau looked up, then looked at Aaron. "He called for Mama, not Dada." Aphmau got up and rolled her eyes. She picked up Emanuel and gave him a new coloring book. "Emily, can you say sorry to Emanuel?" Emily held her bottle and tilted her head.

"What is sorwy, Mama?" Emily asked. Aphmau shrugged. "Aaron, you tell her to say sorry." Aaron was busy cleaning up toys around the house. "Aaron...." Aphmau sang quietly. "AARON!" Aaron jumped up and walked over to Aphmau. "Yes?" "Emily doesn't know how to say sorry to Emanuel." Aaron held Emily and she pushed up her cheeks. "Um... say sorry to... Emanuel?" Emily reached down, and Aaron put her down. She waddled over to Emanuel and hugged him. "I sowwy, brudder." Emily babbled. Aphmau gushed at the cuteness. "Aw... I want to go get my camera!" Aphmau got the kids and walked to her house with Aaron. They walked into a massive storm of rage and anger from Katelyn, Travis, Kawaii~Chan, Vlyad, Lucinda, and Laurence. "What's going on?" Aphmau asked. "Well just to make matters worse, we have to have The Perfect Family walk on in!" Lucinda snarled. Laurence stated, "Lucinda, if you want to know why we're losing, it's because you spend all the money you earn on cars and stuff." Lucinda pushed Laurence onto the rug. "AT LEAST I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING! You keep losing our kids to Kawaii~Chan and Vlyad!" "Well excuse me, but you're still in debt! The Travlyn Loans are still on board!" Katelyn yelled. Kawaii~Chan crossed her arms. "Don't say much Katelyn~Sama! Travis~Kun is actually trying to pay for a wedding ring, from us!"

All of the girls were screaming at each other, and Travis looked at Aaron. "Save me bro!" he mouthed. Aaron saw how Travis was hand-cuffed to the leg of a chair. "Hey... Katelyn... I don't think Travis is really comfortable with the handcuffs." Katelyn held on tight to Travis's hand. "He's MY boyfriend, so I do what I want with him!" She growled. "It's just that he kinda has a reddish mark on his wrist and-" "Do you wanna GO, pretty boy?" Katelyn sneered. Aphmau stepped in front of Aaron. "Leave him alone, Katelyn!" "Fine, I guess you're just too wimpy to take on this game." Aphmau nearly dropped the babies. She set them down in her room and grabbed Aaron's hand. "RESET THE GAME, because we're playing!" "We are?" Aaron gulped.

"Okay, so... the teams are the couples here." Vlyad stated. Aphmau looked at Lucinda and Laurence. "OMG, YOU TWO ARE DATING?!" "No. By the way, he's waaay to wimpy for me." Lucinda addressed. "Let's start! Aphmau and Aaron, you're first!" Travis quickly shouted. Aphmau picked up the dice and placed them in Aaron's hand. He rolled them, and moved their game piece seven spaces. He picked up a card, and Aphmau quickly snatched it away. "Ahem, you and your mate decide to go out for dinner. Minus fifty dollars. That isn't so bad." Aphmau stated. She placed fifty play dollars in the bank box and rolled the dice. She moved the game piece again and picked up another card. "Poof! A new mate came into your life. Steal someone's partner and switch out... yours." Aphmau looked at Aaron and pointed to Laurence. He and Aaron switched places, and he mouthed the words "Good luck!" Lucinda hooked arms with Aaron. "At least he might do better." she smirked. Lucinda rolled the dice and picked up a card. "You two lovebirds get married! You need supplies. The person in front of you is the new Loan Company. Soo.... The Travlyn Loans strike again!" Lucinda whined. She continued to read. "You need supplies off this list. Clothes, $400, seating, $250, catering, $300, rental church, $500. Oh my Irene, we need $1,450, Aaron!"

It was Kawaii~Chan and Vlyad's turn. Vlyad rolled and picked a card. "Congratulations, you won the lottery, of $500,000 dollars! You keep half and give the other half to your friends. Who do you choose?" Kawaii~Chan and Vlyad whispered and came up with a conclusion. "Vlyad~Senpai and Kawaii~Chan gives the other half to Aaron~Kun's team!" Kawaii~Chan squeaked. Lucinda shook Aaron's arm. "Yay! We could even afford a house with the leftover money." It was now Katelyn and Travis's turn. Katelyn rolled and picked the card. "Pick a friend you want to match-make with their partner." Katelyn darted her eyes at Aphmau. "Hey Aphmau, have a nice wedding!" Katelyn boasted. "Feel free to take a loan!" Aphmau cringed and glanced at Aaron. "Well, I guess... it's our turn." she quietly said. "....You and your partner don't think that this is working out. Steal someone's partner! AARON!" Aphmau screamed. Aaron and Laurence switched places. "So um, there is a slight chance you two are getting married." Aaron joked.

Lucinda grunted. "You decide to buy a house. Two options: A nice, modern home, but has an unsafe structure for children, or an apartment that only has three bedrooms, but comes with pools. We're getting the modern house, Laurence." Laurence gawked. "If you didn't know, any kids that come over, or are born, will automatically be in risk of injury and it will cost us." Lucinda flipped her hair. "Please honey, I know what I'm doing." Kawaii~Chan rolled the dice, and one of them bounced off of Aphmau's head. "Sorry Aphmau~Senpai! Your mate decides to write a book and it sells like crazy! Plus $400!" Katelyn snatched the dice from Kawaii~Chan and rolled. "....your mate is sick-" "Literally." Aaron interrupted. "AHEM. MY LIFE, NOT YOURS. Hospital bills reach one-thousand?!" Katelyn scoffed. She threw the dice to Aphmau, and she rolled. "... You and your mate get drunk one night and you find out that you're PREGNANT?! Your mate is sick because of too many drinks and you need to prepare for the arriving child. $1,400....." Everyone cracked up laughing. "OH MY IRENE, THE LOOK ON AARON'S FACE!" Katelyn cried. Travis snorted and fell over. "Aaron... HAH! You don't drink at a-all-a-a-all!" Lucinda yakked.

"Well, I guess we're going to have a... kid-filled life!" Aphmau nervously laughed. "Wait, how many are we having?" "......I DON'T KNOW AARON!" Lucinda picked up a card. "Wow... so um... how am I going to say- IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?" Lucinda gasped. Laurence read the card out loud. "You adopt a child. Not that hard, Lucinda." "BUT YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW! The puke would be all over my dress!"

"WELL THE DREAM TEAM WON, OF COURSE!" Katelyn shouted. Aphmau and Aaron finished with three kids, jobs as doctors and lawyers, and live in a two-million dollar house complete with nine bedrooms. "Nice playing with you." Aaron said as he got up. Aphmau was asleep, and he carried her over his shoulder. She placed her in her bed, and carried the kids back to his house. When he left the house, Lucinda was leaning against the wall. "Don't go drinking, Aaron!" she cackled. Aaron rushed away, and Emanuel played with his hair.
