Chapter 16: First Words

Aaron was awakened by the sound of squealing. He sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Kawaii~Chan..." he muttered. "Nope!" Aphmau giggled. He turned around and saw Aphmau holding Emily. "It's Emily!" she gushed. Emily was babbling and talking. "Ba ba ba ba ba? Ba babby!" Emily said. Aaron was surprised. Emanuel was clinging on to his bed covers on his bed. He was standing and dancing to Kawaii~Chan's singing. Aaron laughed at the two babies. "They're adorable..." he laughed. Aphmau kissed Aaron's cheek. "And ours will be even cuter!" she squeaked. Aaron stopped laughing quickly. "W-what?" he asked. Aphmau picked up Emanuel and laughed. "It was a joke, Aaron."  Aaron was only a bit mortified, but he nervously laughed with her. It was 9:00 a.m., and Aphmau wanted to go out to eat breakfast.

"Come on, Aaron! Try to at least look decent!" Aphmau yelled. Aaron opened his arms and looked down at his normal outfit. "Really?" he stated with a sarcastic tone. Aphmau rolled her eyes and applied shimmery lip gloss. Aaron walked into the bathroom with her and leaned against the wall. "Why are you wearing lip gloss? We're just going out to eat." Aphmau growled at him silently. "Well, Aaron, you never know who you are going to meet in, ahem, Witherswood?" Aaron shrugged. "Yeah so...you do you." He continued in silence against the wall. Aphmau rolled her eyes and thought to herself. Why doesn't he think I look pretty? I'm putting this makeup on for a reason!  Aaron was zoned out. All of a sudden, Aaron started muttering to himself. "What was that?" Aphmau asked. Aaron looked up at Aphmau. "You don't look pretty." Aphmau was shocked. "Aaron! That is the RUDEST thing you have said to me!"

Aaron smirked. "As in you look amazing." Aphmau stopped her rampage and blushed. Aaron walked over and grabbed a baby wipe. He wiped off all of the makeup on Aphmau's face. She then stopped his hand before he wiped off her lip gloss and kissed him. "Now you can continue." Aphmau blushed. Aaron eventually finished and they walked out of the bathroom. They each picked up a baby and walked out of their hotel room. As they made their approach to the elevator, Aaron checked his pants. "I don't need another session with Mira," he sighed. Aphmau giggled as they went down the elevator to the lobby. Mira was talking with her daughter, ignoring Aaron. "Thank Irene." he whispered. They walked out to an IHop and ate breakfast. Emanuel spread syrup over Aaron's face and Emily spilled juice everywhere. "E-Emanuel, can y-you not?" Aphmau sighed. Aaron was ignoring everything that was happening, in his own world. Aphmau realized he wasn't doing anything, so she placed Emily with him.

An hour passed of constant crying, screaming, and messes. They all finally left back to the hotel, into the lobby, where Mira was filing her nails again. Llamalei was ranting on about her trip to someplace, but Mira was focused on Aaron. "Don't you dare step in here without zippin' up." Mira ordered. Aaron saluted her, with both Emanuel and Emily on his shoulder. "I think I'm good." he marched up to the elevator with Aphmau close behind him. When they came to their hotel room, Kawaii~Chan was knitting two beanies for the babies. "Kawaii~Chan wanted to say we all leave tomorrow," Kawaii~Chan squeaked. "Vlyad~Kun is just not listening!" Aphmau whined. "But what about your new friend and everything else?" Kawaii~Chan darted her eyes at Aphmau. "Kawaii~Chan says we leave TOMORROW." Both Aaron and Aphmau shivered. "Got it." Aaron muttered.

Later in the night, Aaron got to sleep with Emily and Aphmau slept with Emanuel. Aaron was trying to fall asleep, but he kept thinking about home. "Katelyn's gonna kill me before I can explain..." he sighed.
