One week later

I rolled in the bed, peaking my eyes to see morning light shine through the blinds on the window. I sighed, waking up in a cold bed, alone, was a terrible feeling. Louis had to go back to London for some business two days ago, I couldn't come with.

I looked over to the clock, it was 10:02. I rubbed my feet together from under the covers, trying to bring friction to them for warmth; it didn't help. Groaning loudly I threw off my blanket and lazily walked to my sock drawer. I pulled on some socks and tightened my ponytail before trudging down the stairs.

My feet slid across the dark wood floor while bringing my body to the kitchen. I brought myself to the coffee maker and started making the hot liquid. I hummed a tune as I walked over to my phone that laid on the counter, it showed one missed call and a message from Louis,

I need to talk to you. Xx

Was all it said. I furrowed my eyebrows, a small frown appearing on my lips. He normally would put a winkey or smiley face at the end of a text, or he wouldn't end the sentence with a subtle period. My stomach swirled with a feeling that something was wrong.

3 Hours earlier.

Louis

I walked into the familiar grey building, this was not somewhere I wanted to be; I couldn't hold off this conversation with management any longer.

I wanted to talk to Simon, but he was in the Bahama's on vacation for three weeks; I knew he would understand, at least I hoped he would. Though management was serious about this, me being with Katie. I had avoided them surprisingly well for a while now, though they were actually threatening to put me on lockout; no internet, phone, computer, tv, communication to my family, my girlfriend, for a week.

I figured I would talk some sense into Richard, tell him it was already too late, the fans all knew about mine and Katie's relationship, and maybe my punishment would only last a day or two.

I continued down the hall, though today it seemed a bit darker. When I neared the front desk, Mary wasn't there, she must've been ill. In her place sat a small, blonde headed, girl. She held a clipboard tightly to her chest, she looked like an intern,

"Louis Tomlinson?" She asked, her eyes wide. I nodded, "Right this way." She led me to Richard's room, a route I knew well enough myself. She opened the door and I walked in, the back of Richard's chair facing me.

"Close the door." He said sharply. The intern quickly shut it, though gave me a look of sympathy beforehand. I made my way to the chair  I found much to familiar. Richard spun his chair around to meet my gaze,

"Louis." He smiled, though it wasn't genuine. I raised my eyebrows. He tilted his head, "You look, happy. Happier than usual." He said. A picture of Katie popped in my head and I brought my fingers to my lips to stop a threatening grin from coming.

"I'm happy." I stated simply; I was. He straightened in his chair, his skin seemed paler, his eyes darker, a bit of stubble rounded his chin, he looked horrible, like he was stressed; I wonder if I was the reason.

"Your girlfriend, Katie, does she make you happy?" He asked. I rolled my eyes,

"What do you want?" I earged. He sat back in his chair and folded his hands together,

        "You know Louis."

"I'm not breaking up with Katie." I stated. He gave me a look of irritation,

"You're going to break up with Katie, and date Eleanor. Is that clear?" He asked smoothly. I shook my head, "I've already spoken to Eleanor, she agreed-"

"I love Katie, not Eleanor." I wasn't budging.

"You listen here!" He stood abruptly from his seat. His rising voice surprised me. "You're under a contract! I am your boss! If I say you need to break up with your girlfriend, then you do it!" He shouted. He looked me straight in the eye, "And if you don't end the relationship, we will ruin this girl's life." He says, venom dripping from his lips.

"What do you mean, ruin her life?" I asked worriedly, knowing how much more I cared about Katie's safety than mine. He smiled evilly  propping his hands up in the air as if reading something invisible,

"Katie Bay, homewrecker of all homewrecker's, ruins famous Louis Tomlinson's relationship with Eleanor Calder," He grins,  "Or even better! Katie Bay, uses pop star Louis tomlinson for money and fame, and breaks his heart." He continues  "How would you like to see those in the headlines." I shook my head fury running throughout me, "all the fans will hate her, the public, everyone."

"You can't do that," I stated harshly.

"I, Mr.Tomlinson, can do whatever I please." He confirms. "Just tell her you're still in love with Eleanor, she'll understand." He said as if he knew Katie personally. I shake my head, knowing he could make people hate Katie, and with all the fans hate already, and her sudden insecurity, she wouldn't be able to handle the hate.

I needed to end mine and Katie's relationship, even though I didn't want to; she meant everything to me.

I couldn't tell her why either, I wouldn't do that to her; make her wait for me, for a chance that might never happen, when she could move on... I would tell her what Richard told me,  I loved Eleanor..
