I laid my head on Louis' bare chest. I listened quietly as he slowly inhaled and exhaled, his breathing relaxing me. I picked up my hand and traced invisible patterns on his chest with my fingers, my touch bringing goosebumps to his skin.

"My dad is going to be home any minute." I whispered. Louis and I came back to my house after our dinner, and definitely made up for lost time... It was late, and my father would be home from his long shift at work. Louis lifted his hand and ran his fingers through my hair softly, sending chills over my entire body.

"I want to meet him." He replied. I furrowed my brows and sat up, lifting the sheet to cover my exposed chest,

"You, want to meet my father?" I asked, kind of surprised. All of my previous boyfriends were typically scared to meet my dad, well not just my dad, but men in generally didn't like meeting the father of their girlfriend. It can be very intimidating and the fact that Louis wanted to meet my dad, made my heart swell.

"Anyone connected to you, is someone I want to know." He mentioned. I smiled and leaned down to give him a quick kiss.

"Well, he might not be too happy with you." I said, reaching down and poking his nose with my pointer finger. He reached one of his arms behind his head, propping it up on the pillow,

"Not happy with me? Why?" He asked.

"Well.. I was sad. Really sad actually," I began, he frowned and grabbed my hand, kissing the very tips of my fingers, "And he hates seeing me that way, so automatically he blamed you; when in all reality it was because of me." I confessed. He shook his head and sat up next too me,

"Let's not talk about it." He said. I nodded,

"How about we just, don't talk." I smiled. He grinned as I laid on my back and he crawled on top of me, kissing me passionately. My heart fluttered and my body warmed. Then my phone started vibrating on the wooden surface next to the bed. I laughed as Louis groaned. He reached over and grabbed my cellphone from the side table before handing it too me. I hit the 'talk' button as Louis started kissing and nibbling at my neck.

"Hello?" I answered, giggling form Louis' lips on my tender neck.

"Oh you're awake." I sat up,

"Oh hey dad," I started, Louis sat up beside me and listened intently.

"Hi. I thought I'd call to see if you were still up to tell you I was on my way home." He explained. "What are you doing up so late by the way?" He asked. I glanced at the clock hanging on my bedroom wall, it was 12:47 in the morning.

"Oh.. I was just waiting, for you!" I replied.

"Um, okay. I'll see you soon then." He said, his tone sounding suspicious.

"Love you, bye!" I hung up the phone quickly. "My dad is on his way and we need to get dressed; fast." I said, hopping out of bed and rummaging in my drawers for some pajamas.  "Oh Yeah! One more thing," I said, grabbing a pair of pajama pants.

        "What?" Louis asked. I grinned,

"My dad, hates soccer." I turned to Louis to see a frown on his face. We then both changed and even had time to head to the kitchen for a late snack of apple slices and caramel on the side. In a matter of minutes my dad's car pulled into the driveway and he was quickly at the door,

"Home!" He said while inside. He pulled off his shoes and walked into the kitchen with his light khaki pants and white polo shirt. His eyes widened when he saw Louis, "Uh..."

"Dad!" I smiled, standing from the stool at the kitchen counter and taking a hold of Louis' hand. "I want you to meet someone." I said. Louis stuck out his hand and my father shook his sternly,

"Louis," Louis voiced. He didn't at all nervous or 'scared'.

"Hi, Dan." My dad said. He let go of Louis' hand and turned to me, "Can I talk to you?" He asked. I nodded and followed him to the living room. "Are you sure about this?" He immediately spoke when we were out of sight by Louis.

        "Dad..." I groaned.

"Katheryn I'm serious." He spoke, his blue orbs widening. I looked at him seriously,

"I'm sure dad. You saw the way I was without him, and I can't be like that anymore." I explained as he sighed. "Dad," I began, "I love him. I really do." I said, my voice not altering in any way. He stifled a yawn before replying,

"Okay." I smiled and engulfed my dad in a hug. We then walked back to the kitchen and talked a little. My dad even agreed to watch a soccer (football)  game with Louis as long as he agreed to watch a baseball game as well.

It was really late and all three of us were tired. My dad told Louis he could sleep on the couch instead of taking the almost two hour long cab ride back to his hotel, and I fetched him a pair of my dad's really old pajama pants that were extremely short for his tall frame; I had no idea why he insisted on keeping them for this long.

I went to my room and waited until I knew my father was in his room and most likely asleep. I then tiptoed back to the living room and walked to the couch that Louis was already fast asleep on. I smiled before carefully lifting up his blanket and scooting next to him. He stirred before opening up his tired eyes. He smiled,

"What do you think you're doing?" He whispered as I laid my head on the pillow and he wrapped his arms around my waist; pulling me closer  to him.

"I wanted to sleep next to you." I replied, closing my droopy eyes. He kissed my shoulder before relaxing. And in no time we were both asleep.
