--Calum's POV--

I sat on the end of my bed, looking around the half full room I had called mine for the past four months. I had packed up basically all my stuff for the tour, so the room was looking pretty empty.

The first dates which were tonight and tomorrow were both in London. Brooke and Chloe were coming to tonight's show, which made me even more nervous, which was the last thing I needed. I breathed deeply.

"You ready, man?" Michael said, coming into my room holding one of his guitar cases. I nodded and got off the bed.

"I'm nervous," I admitted to him as we were walking down the stairs to the van that was waiting for us outside. Michael looked at me as he got into the van, his face riddled with concern, then the concern disappeared nearly as fast as it showed.

"Is this because of Brooke?" he teased. I shrugged, but I knew that she only contributed to a small amount of my nerves.

Michael stepped into the van and sat on the seat near the front. Ashton and Luke were sitting in the back seats, with one left beside Ashton, who was in the middle. I sat beside him, put my headphones in and looked out the window.

"The O2 Arena here we come!!" I heard Ashton say from beside me. I took a deep breath and pulled my iPod out. I found the song that I wanted and pressed play just as the van was pulling away from our house.

This felt like the beginning of a new life, one that wasn't mine, it was so surreal. Our first ever show outside of Australia. No big deal.

"Bring it on," said Luke in reply to Ashton, before putting his headphones in too.

--Brooke's POV--

I lay on my bed, arms and legs outstretched. Chloe was changing into her outfit for tonight that I needed to "double check" which was why I was waiting on my bed. I looked over at my bedside clock. I'd been lying here for 5 minutes already, and I had my make up and hair completed.

"Chloe!!" I yelled, still not moving from my starfish position. "Hurry on! I need to get ready too, you know!"

Chloe walked into my room wearing a light blue halter neck dress which just brushed her knee and a pair of white pumps. Her blonde hair was slightly curled (which I had spent an hour and a half doing for her) and she had light brown eye shadow and a small amount of mascara on. She looked stunning. She raised her eyebrows, expecting a response from me.

"You look beautiful, Chloe," I said, "Luke's not going to be able to take his eyes off you," I teased. She laughed slightly, shaking her head.

"He won't even notice me, I bet," she said. "Right, you get ready now," she said before exiting my room briskly.

I went over to my wardrobe and blew my cheeks out while letting out a long breath, looking at all my available clothes. I wanted to look nice but I didn't want to try too hard or make it look like I spent ages picking an outfit (which I never did anyway). I chose a sort of vintage white floral dress that flared at my hips a little and reached just below my knee. I put on a pair of white converse, my favourite shoes. I basically ignored all my other pairs of shoes I loved my converse so much.

I walked into Chloe's room and held out my arms as if to say "what do you think?" for her to give her opinion. She smiled.

"Calum's one lucky boy," she said, getting up off her bed and coming over to give me a hug. Which was strange because we don't really have that kind of friendship, but it felt right at that moment.

It felt like we were starting a new adventure of sorts. I was so stoked for my performance on The Voice to air tomorrow night (I hadn't told anyone if I got through or not, which I had, but it's great being able to be so sneaky) and things were definitely improving on the love front. It felt great.
