--Brooke's POV--

"What do you even wear to a wedding?" I asked the rail of dresses in front me.

"Definitely NOT white," said Chloe, poking her head round the corner of the rail. "That's just stealing the brides' thunder," she explained expertly.

I looked at the row of dresses in front of me, and none of them were standing out at me. They all looked the same - pink and puffy.

"Can we maybe try a different shop?" I suggested carefully. This was one of Chloe's favourite shops, so I had to be tactful in my 'insults'. Thankfully, she agreed and we started walking down the main street again.

We walked past a side street, which there were many of in London, and a small shop caught my eye. I pulled on Chloe's arm and dragged her into the boutique type place.

We walked through the doors and it was beautiful. The lighting was ambient, there were butterflies along the walls (not the creepy taxidermy ones, like cute little fabric, decorative ones), a long mirror along another wall and a small corner to try stuff on. The dresses seemed to all be vintage. I was in love with this whole place.

"Hey, what do you think of this?" said Chloe. She was holding up one of the most beautiful dresses I had ever seen. It was a pale blue, kind of duck egg blue colour, with 3/4 sleeves and lace detail.

"Try it on," encouraged Chloe once she saw that I had no words. I took the dress off her and walked towards the changing room. It fit perfectly. The sleeves were kinda puffy, the waist was pulled in and it reached just below my knee. I bought it straight away.

I was lying on my bed listening to music as loud as I could, just thinking, then i felt my phone vibrate. I turned the music down and reached for my phone.

"Hi again lol the flight is at 5am on Monday morning and it's 24 hour flight (in case you didn't know but you probably did) so uh yeah Mali sent you an email with the ticket details on it so you just print it off and that's it :) hope it works!"

The message made me feel weird inside. It felt like it wasn't Calum I was talking to. But then again, it wasn't going to be the way it was before, was it? I need to pretend that it doesn't feel different.

"That's great, thanks :) I'll check the emails now and see. Is it not really late over there?"

My thumb hovered over the send button. I shut my eyes and hit send. I have nothing to lose. I sighed, which I seem to be doing a lot of lately, and threw my phone on my pillow and concentrated on the music which was enveloping my bedroom and looked to see if I had received the tickets and sure enough I had.

My phone buzzed again. My heart was all fluttery; it was like nothing had changed at all and I was texting my boyfriend.

"Great! Well, technically it's early morning/late night, but I wanted to text you when you would be able to reply so I just stayed up haha"

Then I started to cry. I missed him; I missed how thoughtful he was, I missed how he used to hold me and how he knew when to stroke my hair, how he always knew what music to put on, I missed his voice, his laugh, his eyes, his dimples, everything. I missed him. But I didn't let him know, I couldn't.

"Aw! Well thank you :) I got the tickets. See you on Tuesday then, I guess :)"

I was still crying as I clicked send, and I cried even harder when I read his reply a few minutes later.

"Awesome. See you then, can't wait! And good luck for Saturday, you'll have no problem winning, we're all rooting for ya :) x"
